If you use Teamup and it’s abroad, do you need to disclose this in your engagement letter?

As long as anyone's able to access tax info from offshore (yourself included if you did a trip to Canada for example) you have to disclose in your engagement letter for entity tax stuff, and as a standalone disclosure (its own document) for 1040 tax work
TeamUp I imagine can get you some best practices on how to communicate that

In my opinion, rejecting low fee clients or clients that may not a little rough around the edges screams of lack of professionalism. As an accountant, part of my job is to train clients as well as educate them and aid them in growing and doing things the right way. In life in general you are going to encounter less than ideal people and situations. As a professional my belief is that part of the job is taking those people and situations and taking them to a higher level.
