I just found out yesterday, that Big Boy was back on the tracks, again. I've known for a long while, that this beautiful beast was being revived and was over the moon, about it. Yesterday, I got a recommendation, here on RUclips, for a video showing Big Boy exiting the train-works bay, for a trial run or breaking-in, for it's first trial run and that footage brought tears to my eyes! I watched 2 more videos of early runs and more tears came. I am almost a 60 year old woman and I have always had a love for all trains, especially the old ones. I just love them and love it even more, when they roll, under their own power, down the tracks, with smoke or steam billowing everywhere!
