Cult Following is well worth reading. As someone who had the grave misfortune to be raised a Jehovah's Witness I can empathise with much of the story. Although the physical removal from the "World" was far less pronounced, mental and emotional removal was constantly encouraged. In some respects this is a far harder juggling act because of interacting with and being faced with, every day, with all that they taught me was wicked.
My pathway out was very different from Bexy's, but very messy nevertheless. I'm about 40,000 words into a first draft and if it is anywhere near to Bexy's work, I will consider it a job well done. The most highly emotive part for me was near the end - the rescuing of her child self. Wow! That part was a gut grabber, possibly because I sometimes wonder whether I ever effectively did that for myself.

The children of god have a commune in my town here in scotland, they are now praying on drug addicts and homeless people, which i would love to fight back against as groups like this, allow the authorities to avoid giving secular rehab for addicts.
