    So glad to hear your comment regarding the low temperature being needed to kill the bugs. People do not realize it is a necessary part of the cycle of nature, Without the change in seasonal weather nature loses its way.

    Hi olly , always always cover you concrete with something, polythene or hessian even straw is an option once the easy float surface has started to turn. This will allow the cure to be more even through the depth and prevent cracks developing. Without a cover, the surface dries quicker. Straw is good because you can spread it thinly or throw it and it keeps the wind off it

    might be a pain to keep up and running sometimes but the cost far out weighs the time the labour to do in the savings you make on heating etc 👍

    Aint that typical wait to the cold weather and then it goes wrong But your team to the rescue I'm surprised you haven't put a chip boiler up at Brookhouse or would that be economical

    I still think you may have to split the 1690 because i had to to change the lay shaft , the lay shaft wear out quite badly
