We always try nonoperative treatments first for the vast majority of elbow problems we see in throwers. If conservative treatments fail, then it does oftentimes require surgery. Ulnar nerve transposition for a subluxing ulnar nerve is usually the treatment of choice. Elbow arthroscopy is an outstanding tool we have in our surgical tool bag that is minimally invasive, and can take care of a lot of the snapping elbow syndrome symptoms as well.
