The main character is not the real son of the “parents”. He is just a stand in they got as a child when the Grandfather decided the real son was too dangerous. The real son was an arson and killed animals, so basically a psychopath. Since they wanted the “father” to become President, they couldn’t have a child like that around. Hence, they somehow got the ML to replace that kid. I think the kidnapper is the real son and he wants to get rid of the ML so he can take his proper place.
The writers have the art of writing unrealistic scenes, falling from such a height would create serious or even fatal damage, the heroine saved in almost total darkness by her savior having braved descent rocks without damage, I hallucinate to see the lack of hindsight, but it's a good kdrama whose outcome will be positive
They really should have had her a bit more injured from that fall. He did say there were broken branches on the trees when he checked it out, but she must have hit those branches and she doesn’t even have any blood on her.
I want to know why she chose to stand ON the bench instead of just sitting down. That was a risk she shouldn’t have taken in the first place. Even if she was pushed back by the group of people, there weren’t so many that sitting wouldn’t have worked. Just asking. She really is pathetic.
