Good day sir, you have no idea how much I appreciate your videos. I like to do my own repairs but the one thing I can't find are the schematics to tell me what outputs each part should be putting out. I can remove the parts, but I don't know how to figure out which part needs to be replaced. Do you, or anyone in this thread, know where I can find "what to check for" and what the readings should be? I have about 10 GLOD boards and a couple of RLOD/YLOD boards and I'd like to repair them myself. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks everyone
I have checked your video, but i dont know if it fixes my problem, my Fat ps3 40gb turns on, green light, but ''No Signal'' at all, no HDMI and no AV works. any thoughts? should i blast it with heat gun? (if so, at what temps, and for how long?) you think can be Nec tokins? can be HDMI chip? (but av doesnt work too...)
Please check for the HDD light to blink. If the light blinks for an instant or is normal then you have to re-flow the RSX. A light reflow that ball under RSX should not melt fully. And to avoid the motherboard bending, preheat the whole board first.380-degree temp.enough if you are using a heat gun and the airflow should be at 3.
@@idreestech the HDD blinks at the very beginning (for an instant) after pressing start, then dont blink anymore while the green light stays on. im using a heat gun, afer preheat the whole board, what temperature should i put on the RSX, and for how long? 250ºc for 40seconds? i just dont know... should i put some flux (no clean) underneath the RSX?

Hi! If you're asking whether there's anyone here who sells defective PS3 and PS2 consoles, I’m not sure, but you might want to check with local repair shops or online marketplaces for parts or defective units. If you have specific repair needs or questions about these consoles, feel free to ask!

Yes, the Green Light of Death (GLOD) on a PS3 can be caused by a GPU issue. The GLOD is often associated with hardware failures, and the GPU is one of the most common culprits, especially in older PS3 models. The PS3’s GPU can overheat, especially if the thermal paste has degraded over time. This can cause poor connections between the GPU and the motherboard. Cold/Cracked Solder Joints: The solder joints between the GPU and the motherboard can weaken over time due to heating and cooling cycles, leading to a loss of contact. This is why many people attempt a reflow or reballing of the GPU to fix this. The GPU itself might have failed or degraded, causing the system to not initialize properly, resulting in GLOD.

No
@idreestech then wht is my ps3 problem sir? If both of them have no signal at all.
In the beginning before you fix it does the fan start or not and did the blue drive worked please answer
If the fan spins after two or three minutes, it is likely an issue with the HDMI encoder chip.
