I went through this a second time and discovered a negative pattern I have been running when it comes to lead generation,follow-up in my business. What I negatively focused on, believing how a lead (person) should act was incongruent to how, in reality a lead (person) actually acts / performs. In my industry it takes anywhere from 6 to 18 months before a person will make a decision….so why am I expecting immediate (within a month) results? Currently working of creating absolute clarity on my approach and outlook going forward.

I have a question. I would like to know if you say there is no such thing as self-worth because there is no way to measure it; it's a feeling but not real. Love is a feeling, and happiness is a feeling. Does that mean they aren't real? I'm asking so I can understand this! :)
Good question.
When we talk about worth, we're talking about a value that can be measured. Self-worth is supposedly a measure of your value, which is impossible because there's no way to measure your value. Self-worth is not really a feeling. It's a concept and when you believe in the concept of self-worth, self-worth then becomes real to you. How you feel about your self-worth will change depending on how you're attempting to measure it. If you believe in the concept of self-worth, it's most likely because you are comparing yourself to others and attempting to measure your value this way. Comparing yourself to others will never serve you. It will make you feel self-important when you compare yourself to people you judge as lower than you and it will make you feel inferior when you compare yourself to people you believe are of higher value than you. Both types of comparisons are destructive to you.
Love and happiness are values. Values are generalizations about experiences that are important to us and that's all you really need to know. Live your values and you won't bother with concepts like self-worth. And there's no need to try to measure love and happiness. There's also no need to compare love and happiness to anything.
@@DamonCart I get that, of course, it's not good to be comparing to others, etc.; we are on our own journey. But self-worth seems to be kind of how we are valuing ourselves and how we feel about ourselves. Is it really accurate to say it's not real?
@@andreaj1231 I would call that self-esteem, how you feel about yourself. When you use the word worth, you're implying a measurable value. Implications in our language are not trivial. They have consequences, which is why it's important to choose your words carefully.

@ 6:21 you ended that sentence with what i thought i heard was "chances are you are sitting goals without understanding how they connect with who you are and what you are trying to ......." and then the word sounded like "fill" instead of "fulfill". if it is "fill" then are you "filling" what was "missing" so to speak and that is literally what a goal does?
It looks like the internet connection glitched when I said the word "fulfill" and it came out as fill.

Fear of failure is usually to do with limited beliefs and something that has happened in the past, this type of fear can be illuminated by doing inner work and understanding where you have created these beliefs x

Does clarity mean overcoming fear and taking the first step to get good feedback Or eliciting my values first?!
I always start with eliciting my values. You need to have clarity about where you want to go. If you don't, it's really hard to step out into unknown territory without direction. Fear tends to be over represented in your consciousness if you don't have a vision of where you want to go and what you want to create. Don't tie yourself up by first trying to overcome your fear. Get motivated by connecting with your values and moving toward what you want. Deal with the fear as it comes up and keep going.
