Tsuburaya really matured Ribut from being the side character in Ultra Galaxy Fight New Generation Heroes to the main character in The Absolute Conspiracy and finally to become the Ultraman who will guide another Ultraman in just 2 years.
And, he even said the same words as Powered and Great's when they train him. Like about Kengo not realizing his true potential, to empty his mind to unleash his hidden power, and warning that the training will be rough.

I am Indonesian-American and ive watched Upin & Ipin ever since i was a child. I remember those nostalgic Ultraman Ribut episodes (even that theres only 2 episodes of Ultraman Ribut lol)
I just love how kengo still has a massive injury and is being absolutely demolished by ribut
Well, to be fair, he'll have to be ready for another fight soon despite his injuries. So, the training with Ribut makes no different except maybe helping him to be able to control Glitter Eternity's power.
You know, Ribut's fighting style is kind of like Pencak Silat, which is a martial art from Malaysia and from my country, Indonesia. But, i guess it does makes sense since Ribut was first created by Les' Copaque for a Malaysian cartoon called Upin Ipin. And, the outfit he wear while in his human form also looked similar to a traditional Pencak Silat uniform especially the Sarong or sash that he wears.

But in Indonesia using batik for pencak silat, in Malaysia using songkek, since the songkek was too expensive, they used sarongs for silat training, songkek will be used during hari raya

Ultraman Ribut transformation is probably the coolest transformation I have ever seen after Leo
Ribut's actor seem so capable and able to do so many things its almost unbelievable. He's most likely going to stand next to Den-o's actor in that regard imo.
Its also interesting to see how mature the writing is when Kengo's issue is his willingness to always go all out even at the expense of his own life is why the Eternity core is overflowing because its responding to that will.
On a final note, THE NURSEDESSEI BATTLE MODE LOOKS BEAUTIFUL. THANK YOU FOR FEEDING YOUR CG ARTISTS WELL TSUBURAYA.

Ribut's design is one of my favorites, it looks like a modernized version of the original Ultraman's or even Jack in the box's design. He's also got the Ginga esc light up pads on his arms (the right being able to turn into a giant shield) the suit just feels like a good mixture of new and old kinda like Kamen Rider W or Zero one, but for Ultraman

Seeing how Glitter Trigger Eternity pars against Absolute Diavolo really confirms that the form is just as powerful as Shining Ultimate Zero (Shining Ultraman Zero with the Ultimate Aegis). And let's not forget that Absolute Diavolo is just as powerful as Absolute Tartarus
No Tartarus is more powerfull and he clapped zero shining form...
While Zero did get clapped by Tartarus who is confirmed to have been holding back in the fight, Zero did land some good hits on him before the beam clash. So far, Joneus, Zero, Ribut, and Trigger are the only Ultras who’ve went toe to toe with Absolutians. I’m not gonna count Legend because he’d kill Tartarus and he knows it.

I see the only two type of ultraman use earthly martial arts first is cosmos(chinese martial arts crane and taichi) second is ribut(pencak silat) as for other they all use space and self-taught fighting style and basic martial arts.

Now after watching episode 15 of ULTRAMAN TRIGGER: NEW GENERATION TIGA, who dare to continue saying its a bad show. This show can surpass Ultraman Z in terms of story, fight scene and tributes to the other Ultramen shows. This episode has balance out all the mentions and sell toys to maximum. Shizuma boss being the linkage of Tiga and Trigger world, Z, Ribut and absolutians linking all the universe together, reminding this is a Ultraman show. The many use of hyper key in the mission, battle mode nursedessei and Ribut and Ignis use of guts sparklens is displayed smoothly and not hard sell. The quote “why do you fight?” and “you are both light and human” 2 of the most important quotes from Tiga is referenced in a well done manner. Glitter triggers punching attacks resembles Dyna’s strong type finisher attack “garnate bomber”. Lastly the use of Gan Q hyperkey completed the T.D.G tribute. Trigger being in control of Eternity core fragment is demonstrated great, as the first 3 times transforming the energy and the glitter blade escape his body immediately after transform. The flow of this episode is the same back in the Heisei era and arguably the best episode of any Ultra show since Ultraman Mebius. Finally the ending gives the eagaring feel which makes you want to keep watching the show, next episode after the other. Trigger is Better that all the new generation heroes including Tagia and Z (from the direction it’s going) Ginga, X, Orb (not origin saga), Geed, R/B, Taiga all 6 are rubbish if you say Trigger is bad. 😤😤😤
I would say that the early half definitely wasn't as good as Z. The plot wasn't as engaging and while the action was good it was sort of just rehashing tiga but worse. It's finally picking up which is good. Kengo is finally growing out of his smile smile phase and becoming a real person. However a major reason why trigger suddenly gote better was because of the introduction of the over arching Absolutian plot. Which, I want to add, isn't really about trigger but relates to the Ultra verse as a whole. Trigger on its own is really weak if you don't know any references. Z definitely can stand on its own.
@@AlongCameASpider I'm confused what you mean by "becoming a human". Kengo grow out smile, smile phase? He is using smile, smile more appropriately. In episode 5 he used his profession as botanist to encourage Akito instead of saying "smile, smile". Episode 11 he said smile, smile to cheer up Yuzare which is perfectly fine and fitting to do and it worked. The plot is engaging and every episode has details that link one to other. Ep 1, 2, 3 the dark gaint showed up. Ep 3, 4 Iginis setting as treasure hunter. Ep 5, 6 Akito start to accept Kengo. Ep 6, 7, 8, modifed robots and Z cameo. Ep 8, 9 alternative universe traveller. Ep 9, 10, 11, 12 further explore the dark gaints and eternity core. Ep 13, 14, 15, 16, 17 (spoiler) Ignis working to become Trigger dark and yuna accept her fate. Also ep 4 hint about Trigger dark/time travel and ep 5 hint about ep 9 and ep 9 set up Tiga cameo for future. Trigger is not weak, you only think he is weak cause Tiga killed the 3 dark giants while he didn't. Z is not that strong himself, only the last episode (supposedly when he mature) he won using his own power (ultra medal help a little). Watch ep 6, Trigger flip the table of 2 ongoing fight and won after transform. You call that week? Look at Taiga, Tregear weaken the mon so Taiga can beat them but he need to borrow new gen powers when he is Taro's son. How the hell is Trigger weak. Absolutian did not make the show better, its just a catalyst to speed up Trigger better use of eternity core. Tiga is a god show because the details and questions left in episode for people to think and reflect on which Trigger is trying to live up to like ep 10. You made a point but give evidence to support because you sound like hater right now.

I am bias just from the fight scene as the other show have over used of slow camera and uncreative chorography pissed me off. After Mebius, the new gen heroes feels like they exists just to fill in the gap/time until Ultraman Z made a massive break through. Is they're been good actors/actress? Yes, but not much to shine with limited settings and not much character development
