Finally a nightly show worth watching!!!!!!!
This is the most powerful topic and a guest who reveals more of its depth than most are even aware of. One of the gems that Ty Gibson revealed was how Americas founding, encapsulated in its Declaration, is a natural outcropping of the Gospel. America is exceptional in human history and is built on the “self evident” sovereignty of the individual endowed by our “Creator”. Paul said, “it was for freedoms sake that Christ set us free” (Galatians 5) and Liberty is of God! Btw, freedom takes faith to work. It’s an easier choice to empower a government to “take care” of our society than it is to believe the “invisible hand” of God will “raise all boats” so to speak, but indeed history has proven that the “road to hell is paved with the good intentions” of those who’ve ceded their freedom for security and proven our founders claim that “they deserve neither”. Great episode and tremendously powerful, thank you!

Dear Sir. You were absolutely correct about SELF=SIN but I was with you until FORGIVENESS. Love is absolute, takes no record of wrong. The forgiveness you described is carnally minded. The forgiveness we ought to show is ONLY possible through the Spirit of Christ within us. Thanks a lot, I learned so much about the Love of God and the power dynamic.
May I say that it is NOT loving to put your child in harms way of an abuser for the sake of demonstrating forgiveness. We love by both forgiving and protecting.

Question, have you forgiven your stepdad?
Answer, forgiveness is complex…real answer is NO (of course no dissonance, his indifference towards non-misdemeanors is truly Christlike). Imagine Jesus saying, your sins are offensive, I’ll forgive, but I want nothing to do with you. Thankfully Christ wants to have spaghetti dinners with all of his children (felons), including me. We all have sob stories buddy, another pseudo intellectual, in this case, discussing his truncated understanding on forgiveness.
