- Birmingham City made it FIVE EFL League One wins in a row with a convincing 2-0 away victory against Rotherham United at the New York Stadium. The result does not reflect the dominance of this developing Birmingham City side who are just getting better and better each week. In his post match interview Rotherham manager Steve Evans was very complimentary and referred to the Blues side as the best League One side he has EVER seen! A compliment indeed from a manager who is very experienced at League One level.

What’s great about this season watching Blues is the togetherness that’s around the club, the fans, the players and the management. Couldn’t fight our way out of a paper bag last season, looking for the paper bag to rip up this season. Thought we could have won by more and great to get the first clean sheet! what im loving this season is the togetherness as a team,you see when we score the whole team come and congratulate the scorer,and when theres a ruk they all defend there teamate 😁

I really like Klara, he is fast becoming a favourite with his passion. When we beat Wrexham and he came down the Gil Merrick tunnel, the way he pumped the air showed me he is in this with us, he is blue now. Really happy with how good we have been KRO!

The level of professionalism running through the club with both the men and women from top to bottom is really starting to show already. Chris Davies is exceptional in the way he's conducting his interviews, very measured and controlled. We are in safe hands. It is amusing you've been stood next to the Blues Focus guys the last two away games, I was almost expecting an amalgamation announcement in order for you to become the Football League Galactico Podcast/Vlog Squad but stay as you are and congrats on all your subscribers so far. It is strange that we seem to get tickets next to the Blues Focus boys, which is completely random and unplanned! KRO!

CD said on post match interview the Alfie May had been a bit unwell during the week and was perhaps the reason that he gave Dykes his chance, maybe??
Also after reading, listening etc I got the feeling that for the 1st time this season that the opposition felt they’d lose before they even kicked off.
Other teams treated our matches as their cup finals and sometimes actually played their best against the Blues and hadn’t reached those heights since.

I hope to meet you at a game sometime. I can't get over the fact that when we rarely make a mistake there are lots of our players surrounding the area to rectify it. I am pleased we didn't have a kick around close to their goalmouth this time. We did it but higher up the field.

Rotherham went into damage limitation mode in a 5-4-1 low block. That alone tells the story KRO SOTV

Now then , I saw you two sat next to the blues focus youtube lads on their vlog , I thought you were calm and collected rational blokes, but you were very animated towards the home fans 😂

Most exciting thing for me is finding these "under the radar" players like Willumson and Iwata. The reverse of the "he used to be good signings" we're used to

Saw a post on Facebook someone asked where would this squad finish in the championship, interested to hear from you guys and others in the comment section. I reckon we would be just outside of the playoffs maybe 7th-10th 👍

Delighted with a clean sheet at last. We were very good indeed but the score still didnt do us justice. I thought Rotherham were decent too; well set up and well organised and unlike Wrexham they know their identity but although they huffed and puffed they never looked like blowing our house down. I think we will meet a few similar teams but so long as we can stay calm and keep playing the way we want to and can we should manage ok. It was Rotherham Land of The Giants but we didnt let them push us around or let them have possession which is great. I like Gardner-Hickman's game too;; a definite upgrade form Laird and he's keeping a full international (Sampsted) out so more power to him. Dykes was very good too and not just as a decoy I think he will play a bit away. I like the boy from Northampton too but he cant get a game at the moment. That's how strong we are and although you cant say the league will be a cakewalk so long as we remain calm and confident we can actually win something without the boys getting too tired . KRO! Wish I could be there with you.

I really like Marc Leonard who would walk into the starting line up of most Championship clubs and to have him starting on our bench (and Alfied May) for this match is insane. It just shows how much depth we have in the squad this season and why we are going to be really hard to beat this season. KRO!

It means that we can enjoy the matches without having to record any footage plus there are plenty of good vlogging channels already out there. KRO!
blues are on fire iv allways love to go to rotherham last time i was there was 2016 or 17 but the resault at the weekend was awesome if we keep this up blues will be back into the championship blues are so enjoyable this season and i dont know how anyone aint pointed it out 2008 we was 5 games unbeaten like we are now back then in 2008 that was the year we got promoted to the prem its crazy 5 unbeaten now just like 2008 but anyone kro utb

I think fan mentality of Bluenoses is in chaos especially mine. I keep thinking when is the real Birmingham City going to turn up. You know the one that grabs defeat from the jaws of victory or turns up for 45 mins then goes missing for the other 45. I dont want to get too excited because I know it hurts being a Bluenose.

Would be brill if Barnsley got promotion with the Blues and Rotherham win the play off!

There were surprise home defeats for Charlton, Huddersfield and Stockport who are all fancied to do well so everyone seems to be beating everyone at the moment.

Hi Chaps great podcast as usual,are you like me thinking can we go through the season unbeaten,the quality we have makes me think yes it’s possible,but obviously promotion is the priority.I’m sure a 5 or six hammering is around the corner,that’s not being arrogant but the quality we have it’s inevitable.KRO.
I can’t see us losing to anyone, but teams like Huddersfield and Charlton will give us a run for our money

One Rotherham vlogger called us an average championship side.
Would that be a fair assessment?
