Those are some really pro looking finishes. No wonder it is taking so long. Much more than what I have so far, but function over form especially when you are in a hurry. I'm guessing this will be a much better camper than the original when all is said and done. Keep up the good work.
I haven't checked in for some time, my goodness the progress is amazing! I love that you and your Dad are building this thing together, I know it will be top notch! Love you guys!
I was excited to see you post an update. It looks great. I can't wait to see the short videos on the different parts of the build if you decide to post them.
Great job with this build. I have to say today was the first time I caught your channel by searching installing filon on camper..I got sucked in watching you and your dad build this.. once again Great job. Can't wait to see more
Kelly if your going to install filon rule 1 is get extra help because it sticks as soon as the contact cement touches itself if done correct i had 4 people to install a 10 ft wall and probably could of used 1 more but mine was on a standing wall so thats a little harder
You're doing such a great job! Great attention to detail. We can't wait to see you put the rubber roof and filon on though. We are rebuilding our Real lite truck camper into a hard top. We are getting close to doing the roof and filon sides, it would be great to see how you did it first, lol.
I have a 1988 Coachmen truck camper with the same siding that your RV came with. It has the foam board insulation, fiberglass siding laminated together. Is it possible to remove the siding without damaging it, if I'm really careful?
Looks great. Only thing I would suggest is taking out the slant in the roof above the cab. We have a 1978 Toyota Mini Mirage with the same roof and the loss of headroom in the bed area is maddening!! Constantly hitting our heads….
we’re far beyond any modifications to that part of the design! plus, sounds like you’d severely kill whatever is left of fuel economy if you went flat front
What thickness is your butcher block and where did you get it? I have a Dodge Serro Scotty I am wanting to redo. Located around Jax. Fl and trying to source some items for the rebuild!
@@oddcouple4x476 Yea I seen that after doing some more digging into your work! Great job! I have garnered a lot of inspiration from this build to use for mine. Great job on the butcher block and routing out the underside is smart to save weight. I have found some 1 1/8 but weight is something to always be mindful of when modifying a motorhome for sure.
I found this pan online, if you look around there are a decent amount of pan shapes out there. You could also have one bent up out of stainless from a metal fab shop!
Absolutely beautiful. Thank you for sharing! 💜
This is rad! Cannot wait until we are at this stage!
Looking great.

Looks good
I like the way you've developed a clean design with practical features. Often I see either practical or clean design but rarely both.
I really appreciate that, thanks!

Excellent work on this build. The last 20% takes 80% of the time... so keep at it and good luck!
I been waiting your project, is going great 👍
Great joob!
What a great looking camper! I love it!
Great video. I have a 93 Winnebago Warrior and have a case of rig envy with the work you’ve done here. Hope to see more videos soon
thank you!

Thanks Kelly! We will be doing the final filon install in a month or two, hoping for some lower humidity!

@@brentsharp8234 Definitely, you have once chance to stick it so make it count!
@@brentsharp8234 thank you not sure what the plan is yet but appreciate the advice

How can I get those fiber glass roll to make the walls?

I made the block from scratch. The block is 1.5” thick which is a bit heavy, Id like to route some weight out of it!

Did you fabricate that shower pan ? If so how im trying to figure out how to make an odd size pan in my build
