Just so everyone knows, the 12 vein that Steve got is because an 8 vein spawned on the border of a chunk, and a 4 vein spawned on the border of the exact next chunk.
It happened to me too I got a ten vain of diamonds and eighteen vain of iron lololol
I dont think diamonds spawn in eight veins anymore, they can only spawn in 6 and below
@@scpscp7265 it could also be the corner border of 4 chunks where 3 or 4 diamond veins spawned together to total 12 if 8 veins arent a thing in that version

@@scpscp7265 nope, I just looked it up and the max diamond vein is 10 now, though if you’re lucky 2 veins will collide, combining into a larger vein, like what happened with Steve.

for anyone wondering, -60 is the ideal height for diamond mining. that's where the most diamonds spawn but the lava pools will be above your head
Yeah, from what I heard from watching xumivoid, it was -59. So yeah, -60 👍
-52 is best because caving is much better and that is lowest level to find caves without glitvched generation and you can also find deep darks.
@@aidanwhite5631 yes but for strip mining -59 or -60 are best, caves are more efficient but they have smaller diamond veins and less of them.
@@mrpurple_p325 true but deepslate is much harder to mine through and increases the time while walking in a deepslate cave system doesnt. also you have to deal with the lava pools. it also does less damage to your pickaxe and if you are down their you probably have either a really good pickaxe you are losing durability on or a inventory of iron pickaxes whbich would be so slow to mine with

the new spawn for diamonds is basically the lower you go the more that diamonds spawn. because on the spawn chart that the dev showed is that it's a triangle the base at the bottom of the world. but also the risk of deep dark and lava so between my idea is -40 and -30. just know lower Is better spawns but more risk.
Dropsy is giving her self potions, that's not even a hack that's just cheating
Now we need one where everyone except one is the hacker and that one is out of the loop on the prank

Fun fact: a desert is the best biome to find diamonds, and the mesa is the best for gold.

@@seanrobotic9836 Yes they do, at the same density they always have. I have personally tested it; down by bedrock I spent an hour mining in a straight line with an efficiency 5 fortune 3 netherite pickaxe, and got 5 diamonds. I did the same at y 11, and got 36 due to the speed at which mining is easier. it's more efficient to mine at y 11 for diamonds.

For diamonds the optimal height is -52
12 veins are simi natural now because now large veins can generate that have up to 20 ores
