You do realise that the canoeing industries profits have risen sharply since you started posting videos like this!! :) Superb stuff as always Pete and highly informative. Great capture of the lightening too, thats what you got to luv about Blighty, four seasons in one day lol. Thanks as always for sharing your trip out and wishing you and your family a blessed week ahead ~Peace~
Haaaaa Zed for sure....I've said before - if I had a sov' (quid/£) for each person who've acquired a canoe from watching my vids...I'd be vrooming around in a launch by now :-) Glad you found content of interest especially the contrasting weather night n day, for me it's what it's all about - "all weathers all terrains" See you in the next one mate. Blessings back at you & yours. ~Prana~
amazing stuff pete - done well to capture the storm too. looks like your cutting back a little with your calorie intake lol. the moon time must of been stunning bro - well done for getting out. i feel imprisoned lately, always family stuff going on :( missing the outdoors like crazy and your bloody vids make it worse hahahaha thanks for taking us along boyceee mate see you next weekend
Cheerzzz me dearzz. It was like my aura just spread out, relaxed & blended into the environment lol...it was "one with the elements" moments lol getting back out on the waters. Brill being in the varied weather conditions & sights to behold for sure mate. Fooood glllorious foooodah!! haaaa. Tally with ya during the week to finalise our outdoorsyness :-)
What an amazing weekend! Don't you just love the sound of rain on a tarp? Great to see you two out there wild camping again. Your adventures are always such a pleasure to share.
You guys really know how to enjoy a miserable situation. That's an art in itself. I have realized that my greatest moments of suffering and misery have produced some of the best memories. I have to laugh when people say "in the good old days", These are the good old days! They might not seem like it now, but some day they will. Keep up the great work guys...
Thanks for your comment. In my book it's just as much about mind set & attitude as it is about having good practice & appropriate kit. If we're blessed enough every day should be a good day, appreciating having physical mobility & health. All the best!
Very nice video of your trip. Loved watching the thunder and lightning. Thank you for inviting us along. I am curious though on how you keep the meats and eggs cool, while out on your watery jaunts? Thanks for a moment of your time. Look forward to watching more of your canoe trips. Have a great day or night when you get to read this.
Thanks for the feedback, glad you like the weather affects. I keep meat frozen until I'm ready to leave home, wrap in foil (to be used for other sundry uses) surround it with other foods in box to keep insulated, keep box out of hot weather (i.e. box in kit bag, shade, near ground, surrounded by other kit) at a push the meat will keep for good 3 days before chance to perish/go off. Eggs will stay edible for a good week if kept as cool as poss'. See you in the next one, good day back at you!
Thanks for the comment Aaron. A plethora of things - varied weather/trail food/basha set up etc - all good stuff in the great watery outdoors :-) Cheers!
:) I need to get out more and also encourage my 6 year old daughter. She enjoys stripping lawnmower engines so hopefully a bit of the wild-life will entertain her too :)
TeamEggmotor Ha haaa nice one - that is the right answer :-) Good to know your daughter's tactile & you're considering can get her to experience the fun of doing outdoors stuff. - spot on
carpe diem indeed! Brilliant video Pete, just the tonic! I soon hope to follow your example. Perfect camp and food fit for a King, loved it mate. Hope to catch up with you soon, all the best, Stef
Heyup Stef. Cheers for the comment mate. Hope things are settled your end & taking an even keel. Yeh it was a blinding 2 nights out on the river with the yin yang weather of lightening storm to mild night orange moon the following day. Hopefully tally before the sunny day light hours reduce. ATB back at ya!
What a fantastic video, me and a pal are planning a seven day trip next year and after watching that I'm even more excited to do it,thanks for all the little tips you chuck in like the pressure in the canoe never thought of that one
Thanks for watching & your interest in the video content. ATB for planning & executing your canoe trip next year - it won't come quick enough :-) Appropriate skills canoe & kit you'll have a priceless time. Cheers
Pete, I love how you breakfast. The camp set up looks spot on, I'll need to keep it in mind if I actually go out. Some friends want me to go camping with them and they know about injuries, and say they are ready to help me with them, Very tempted to go..It would be in the fall, too hot just now at 90f or 32 celsius.
Glad you like my trail food. For me it's as limited as ones imagination or interest in food. Had the odd trip or fall but never anything injurious or needing treatment, you just need to be one step ahead of what could happen. Good you've got the back up from friends if there's a problem. Hope you can get out soon - good times :-)
Cheers again Pete and akasha.loved the thunder and lightning.i got a pack of those flat bread things for 10p the other day because they were going out of date,YUMMY.keep up the good work.ATB.Rich
Thanks Rich. Yep it was great to return to the waters & experience the varied weather. I'm always on the look out for different food ideas to do/use outdoors, the bread thins made a change from normal bread slices plus took less time to toast & easier to pack :-) Cheers
Thanks for joining me Tito, glad you enjoyed. Endeavouring to get on the waters more during the milder longer daylight hours. All the best outdoors....& in :-) Cheers mate
Great vid as usual Pete. Liked the camo fleece top you slept in - whose make was it as I might see about purchasing one. Thanks for taking us along and sharing. ATB Chris
Just back from wild camping in the Lake District for a week and pleased to see ur latest video, love ur vids and educational, inspired me to get out there and now hooked missed you at the bushcraft show I was in the woods or wet woods lol, hopefully catch up with you some day to say hello, keep them coming
Hope you had a great wild camp Richard, good to know you're inspired to get out there. Your continued interest in my stuff is much appreciated. Yeh hopefully we can tally at an event in the future. Be safe :-)
Really enjoyed this, nay, thoroughly enjoyed this, helped me decide on billy can for cooking as am new to wild camping, fire set-up and food looked great, dog and canoe just wonderful, have subscribed. Inspired, thank you.
Thanks a lot for your interest - much obliged! Good to know you are getting into wanting to spend decent time outdoors practicing different skills - "all good stuff". Take it steady & surely, out there & safe. Cheers
Cheers, mate. I've been waiting a while for your last update and I have to say it has been well worth it! Always love your new postings! Thanks for posting them!
Nice work man, sounds like you made the right decision in the end! I tell you what, hearing that rain on your tarp really made me want to go out and kip under mine! I love chilling out under a tarp nice and dry when all hells breaking loose above you!
Thanks Dan, yep always have contingencies so the ability to unexpectedly need to adapt if need be - rule of thumb :-) Sight n sounds of the stormy weather always worth the effort to experience for sure. Out there & safe bud
Hi Pete, that was quite a storm, envy you being out in that weather, always loved a good lightning display, also very happy to see lady K looking well, with the coleman stove I found that HM Supplies (Camberley) still do a non stick large mess tin lid that makes a very good frypan, still using mine since about 1987 along with my coleman peak one stove of the same era, hexi is only a back up when I can get out. Good basha set up, still using an American woodland job even now it still does the job after over 25 years! All the best ktf John.
Thanks for taking time to give us some feedback John, good to know about your stuff. We look after our kit & it'll look after us that's for sure. Just about to stock up on a job lot low price deal of hexi blocks to keep in reserve, too good a deal not to. ATB back at ya!
Thanks for liking the vid Tony. "All weathers...all terrains"....certainly worth calculating when you can get out safely into a storm......gooooood times :-)
Heard you mention nettles, making tea from them? Also you said they sometimes sting your legs. Here in Tennessee, USA we have a plant called "stinging nettles". I can't imagine this is similar plant, especially making tea from them. They make very painful welts wherever they touch. I couldn't get a good look at them in your video, but they look much bigger. Just an observation.
Yep stinging nettles the same thing, mentioned in the vid they got me a few times due to short trousers. One in this vid happened to grow bigger than usual due to excessive wet weather over past 6 months. "dead nettle" has white or purple ish flowers, have no sting & grow smaller than the "stingers". Pound for pound a very nutritious leaf. loses sting over flame or boil.
As usual, another fantastic video sir. Do you use ice packs, or the like, to keep the eggs, bacon, sausages and other perishables cold or are they frozen and what type of sack do you keep them in? I recently purchased a new British Army gas mask and cartridge bag because it's supposedly insulated. If it is, it doesn't have that much to it. I'll have to experiment. Thanks for the vid and (if you would) give that sweet doggie a scratch behind her ear from my children and me. Catcha later. Rikki
Glad you liked it Rikki. Take frozen foods out of freezer & pack just before you leave home. Surround them with foil (which may be sued for other sundry cooking uses) & other foods to keep them insulated within food box (you'll have seen my boxes in many vids), plus as near away from warmth as poss e.g when not in transit then right in shade & near to ground (cooler) Yep just see what works from kit you acquire. Pat & a scratch to safari dog...consider it done :-) ATB & Cheers
It has to be said Pete that this has to be one of your best vids. Enjoyed watching but have to admit that I did feel envious of you tarping out in that lightning storm followed by the aura moon the next night! Great stuff mate keep em coming! A.T.B Gaz :)
Thanks a lot Chris! Any time is good but that lightening & orange moon weekend was a good un for sure. Outdoors stove & fire pit cooking = yyyummmeeeyyness all round lol Cheers
Hey Pete, I'm another quid in your penny jar. I bought my canoe last week because I'd seen your vids. Me and my son have been out and about for most of the last week learning how to use it (biggest lesson learned this week: Don't forget to put the drain plug in before you set off. Ha!). Can you suggest any good sites to camp out. We'll be looking to do an overnighter or two pretty soon. So far, we've only done the Kennet & Avon, and there doesn't seem to be much in the way of "islands" round there. Any ideas you have would be appreciated. Keep up the good work, mate (loved your lightning shots).
Getting out there in your canoe - nice one. I advise people to invest time in searching maps etc via google/books/map books (that's what I've done over a long period of time) to assess the most appropriate places to "put in" safely & navigate convenient to where one can travel & get to. There's more open river banks than islands along British waterways to set up, but be aware they could be on monitored private land. Also consider a recce on foot/by car of potential places to go. Cheers for the £ in the jar.......I wish lol
Another fine outdoors video. How do you keep food from sticking to the cookware? I have had that kind of trouble so far and turning down the burner does help but still have a bit of an issue. Also used veg cooking oil but i don't like the splatter it makes while cooking. Too messy and want to be a bit healthier when cooking outdoors
Glad you liked it. I only use s/steel utensils, less chance of cooking food sticking compared to ali'. Yep gentle heat so food doesn't get soldered onto pan & keep food moving around (as a lot of my vids display) I prefer sunflower oil (healthy polyunsaturates) it burns at higher temperature compared to olive oil which burns at much lower temps'. Any food with oil/fat is by default going to spit. Unless you're over weight or have health problems I wouldn't worry about minimal oil use in cooking.
I am at a bit of a disadvantage in the weight department, but I'm not a lost cause yet :-). Went out not long ago and found what I think might fit the bill for stainless utensils and got rid of the plastics in my kit and will give it a try asap. Have loads of questions to ask but don't wish to overwhelm you or take up much of your time. Will try to figure out what I can for myself which is a lot of fun and ask when I get stuck.
Thanks for liking the vid. Not to say I don't come across midges or the like but personally it's never been a big issue with loads of them near to where I pitch.
Another great video there Pete! I enjoyed that. Its amazing how that tarp can take that kind of hammering ,and still keep you dry.Do you have to waterproof it from time to time?
Thanks for your complimentary words Steven, much obliged. I 1st used the brand new army issue tarp in the vid "Adapt To The Situation" whereby it leaked along the ridge in 2 small spots, back home treated it with a brush spread of diluted silicon sealer, never had a prob with it since. I'll consider surface treating it if/when I get surface water ingress. One of the strongest tarps I've had to date.
Great video, that rain looked really bad - any leaks with your tarp set up at all? The fry up looked brilliant..... And then you made a mortal sin and put red sauce on it, as everyone knows, outdoor man needs HP brown sauce lol! Keep on posting please mate.
Was great to be in 2 opposite weather conditions 2 nights on the row. 1st use of tarp was featured in vid Adapt To The Situation when there was a prob all be it was BN unissued, explained in vid what happened then in later vid how I repaired/reinforced all the seams with silicone solution. Haaa you're not the only one who's commented on vids about HP sauce lol. Catch ya in the next one.
rain on *insert fabric of your choice* = best sound in the world. wish me luck am going bivvy wildcamping for the first time on friday, practice for a lakes wildcamp, hopefully i'll figure out how the tarp works pretty quick!!
I've just made it 100 likes do I get a prize lol....cracking video buddy liking your tarp formation..the thunder and lightning put hairs up on back of my neck haha..loving the paddle to the beat scene good stuff mate..chris..lone wolf outdoors.
Yes Chris...a life size framed pic of something yyummeeeeyness lol. Good to have varied tarp configs' for different terrains etc. Being in the thunder & lightening made the continual paddle on to eventual location worth while, much better than location 2 would've been considering the shade canopy cover there. Bit of hard trance don't go a miss for sure mate. Cheers!
What a great vid Pete, I hope one day my vids can be of your quality and just as entertaining. That thunder and lighting was insane and sounded like heavy falls too, still - nothing beats the sound of rain on a tent/tarp. All the best and cheers Q
Wot canoe is that and. Wot is. Covering the under side. As I am thinking of getting one of these to get to more isolated places etc. also I have a dog that I want to take. How do u stop claws fro ripping or pun hearing. Bottom whilst out on the river
2 seater Sevylor Colorado. Inflatable bladders covered in nylon canvas hull. My dogs claws aren't razor sharp or piercing so never had a problem with puncture from her paws, the floor cover is strong enough to stop any inserts. If the base was just thin plastic it could be a problem. If your concerned then put an extra layer of protective surface over the floor where dog goes.
The first time I have watched one of your videos, enjoyed it very much. You should show more of your loyal 4-legged friend though. Thanks, from Texas, USA.
Thanks very much for watching & comment - much appreciated. Akasha "safari dog" has been featured/included in many of my videos from doing a few tricks to how where she sleeps etc. All the best to you & Texas. Cheers!
Great Video "Maverick" I have just bought a "Sevylor Amazon inflatable Kayak" I have had all the other kit for Donkeys years ! ! it's just finding somewhere in leicestershire where I can canoe and somewhere to pitch ! ! Good Video ! !
Thanks for the comment Roy. Give yourself a radius from where you live that you're prepared to travel then search out places from there via google, maps, local area books etc. It takes time but that's the only safe & practical way to do it......I've spent a long time doing this i.e recceing searching where to go. Cheers
great vid like always! Congratulations on 10,000 subscribers! I've been watching your channel for years! Will you be doing a special vid for the landmark 10,000?
Thanks for the positive words Ben. Much appreciate you continued interest in my channel!! Haven't really thought about celebratory 10,000 mark vid as such, may include some sort of statement in a future vid. ATB!!
This has nothing to do with this vid, but I have a question about water purification tablets. Most need to sit in the water for at least thirty minuets or more. This may be dumb, BUT what if you grind them up into a powder first ? They should dissolve faster ?? Since your like the senior bushcraft person on my follow list, I thought I'd ask you. No disrespect my friend. Arizona Arthur.
Thanks for watching AA. Valid point with your question. My personal perspective of it is: the steri tabs are very small whereby upon crushing a tab one could lose some of the compound from the crushing/breaking process hence losing the right dose, or just the crushing being awkward coz the tab is so small, plus ones life/health is reliant on getting the purification solution right. For me it's more convenient to simply put the tab straight into the correct amount of water & leave it to it, knowing the right dose is treating the water with no loss of powder around the bottle/vessel head or wind/breeze blowing it away, even if it's gonna take 30-40 mins to sort the water. As I say that's my personal practical view on it. Cheers!
Really enjoyed watching this, those burgers looked so good!!🍴🍔 your dog is adorable ,looking forward to seeing more in the future .you have earned my sub to your channel , Michael from Maryland in the states 🇺🇸
Thanks very much Michael for your complimentary words & interest in my channel. Plenty of varied content in my other vids from kits, travels etc & of course "yummy" cooking.....when you have time to watch. Cheers to you & Maryland!
Thanks a lot pete, yes it was great to return in the canoe after too long a break (adverse river conditions & canoe repair)...bang on it again soon. Cheers!
Man there was certainly a plantation going on there lol. Nettle, goosegrass, oatmeal & chopped bacon rolled into balls and light fired.....spot on yummy trail food :-)
Eli Garretson Yeh the back waters are more laid back for sure Eli. No.100 happened to be 4 of us overnight in the woods the other week. Didn't really consider a celebratory vid as such, may highlight it in the future :-)
I was enjoying the video right up to 12.38 when I saw you commit the crime of putting tomato sauce on your bacon and egg sarnie! I had to unsub immediately and vow never to watch your video's again. Lol. Loved that lighting footage Pete, and the rain on the basher sounded awesome. I've just purchased a nice basher myself and will be using your videos for tips on configuration ideas. Never used one before so it'll be a bit of trial and error. Quick question mate. Have you had any problems with ticks whilst out and about? I had to remove a big bugger from my Scooby last week. Nasty things they are!
Haaaaa yeh I'm a bit of a perpetrator of applying sacrilege tom' sauce to loads of stuff lol. It was great to be able to capture the affect of the storm whilst experiencing varied weather of the weekend - all good stuff for sure. All the best with tarp session no.1! Surprisingly I've not had probs with tics not to say the potential isn't there, ironically only from by back garden. Aksha's had a few nearer to domestic areas than outdoorsing it, I always keep a body check or her & me. Out there & safe when you tarp it - good times :-)
Thanks Stephen. Checked em out a little while ago, the ali tubular ones aren't much heavier than my inflatable (military version much heavier spec etc - built for more heavy duty purpose), I prefer the open canoe with buoyancy aid protection.
I'm certainly blessed Akasha's a fit as can be considering her age & recent health prob. When she merauded off into the scrub on the 2nd location neither of us could see above our heads or more than 2 ft in front, I had to listen out for her movement through the bush just before she nearly hit the water. Will check it out Charles. ATB
Great video as usual. Your editing is superb. I enjoy your vids very much. Your dog is great and she does talk to you quite a bit. Loads of fun and great eating. Thanks for sharing your outdoor life, I always learn something new from you. I started my own channel marcegrecco53, if you get a chance check it out, I am still working out the kinks and learning the whole process. Thanks again Pete for your great vids. Marc
Thanks for the nice words & positive feedback Marc, much appreciated. Grateful for your continued interest in what I do & glad you're able to glean something from it. It's an endless journey experiencing what we can from being outdoors. I'll check out your link soon. Cheers & ATB
For sure Rochelle, always take care of ones eyes wherever/whatever one's doing. Ironically it's one of the least things reviewed/mentioned/included in a lot of d.i.y. 1st aid kits. E.g so easy to get fire ash/dust in face when applying maintenance to fire pit. Thanks

Nice work man, sounds like you made the right decision in the end! I tell you what, hearing that rain on your tarp really made me want to go out and kip under mine! I love chilling out under a tarp nice and dry when all hells breaking loose above you!
Thanks Dan, yep always have contingencies so the ability to unexpectedly need to adapt if need be - rule of thumb :-)
Sight n sounds of the stormy weather always worth the effort to experience for sure. Out there & safe bud
Another great vid peter, wish I could get out and about more. Keep paddling
Thanks a lot!
Hope you get chances to get out in the milder longer daylight weather. Cheers
Super vid loved the storm and the doggy coat. I've done the snow and rain but never lightning - must give it a whirl next :)
Thanks for liking the vid Tony. "All weathers...all terrains"....certainly worth calculating when you can get out safely into a storm......gooooood times :-)
Only just found this old video today but had to comment on how bloody perfect that toast was LOL How did you get it as good as that on a stove?? 👍
I really like your unique camera style. Great video.
Thanks very much, appreciate your interest!
Great video Pete, always enjoy watching your jaunts. Atb Mike.
Cheers Mike, glad ya liked the jaunt. Hope all's well!
Another great video on a lovely looking stretch of the Thames.
Your in the Cotswolds near Lechlade right?
Thanks.
A little bit further down past Oxford onto the main wider stretch navigation
Thanks Pete for sharing your journey great vid mate I enjoyed that regards Marty cuff
Thanks a lot Marty!
Hope you can get out in ya canoe during this more clement weather mate.
Fantastic outing thanks for sharing with us ..
Take care..
Thanks for view & comment Widgy!
ATB!
Great vid as always love canoeing been a few times over nighters on the river wye great way to get about
Thanks Roy!
When I've appropriate time a 4-5 nighter on the Wye is at the top of my list, great terrains & views to take in along the navigation.
Pat & a scratch to safari dog...consider it done :-)
ATB & Cheers
It has to be said Pete that this has to be one of your best vids. Enjoyed watching but have to admit that I did feel envious of you tarping out in that lightning storm followed by the aura moon the next night! Great stuff mate keep em coming! A.T.B Gaz :)
Thanks for the feedback Gaz, glad you liked the vid! Yes the contrasting nightly weather certainly made it even more worth while. Cheers!
Nice few nights Pete , wish I could get out for that amount of time. At the mo just day trips on my canoe , still that's good aswell!
Thanks for commenting WC. Yep even the day trips are good just to be out off terra firma for a change for sure.
Great video good to see you back on the water .
Thanks a lot, was good to get back in it & on it
Another great video I was out my self that weekend and that moon was stunning those Burgers looked yuummee atb Chris
Thanks a lot Chris!
Any time is good but that lightening & orange moon weekend was a good un for sure. Outdoors stove & fire pit cooking = yyyummmeeeyyness all round lol
Cheers
The interruptions ARE the journey -- Ted Simon
Thanks for sharing Pete.
John
Thanks John.
Yep it's all part of the experience for sure.
Cheers!
Cool vid - thanks ! Just wondering, do you ever get problems with midges and Mosquitos camping so close to the water ?
Thanks for liking the vid. Not to say I don't come across midges or the like but personally it's never been a big issue with loads of them near to where I pitch.
Sir. Another good one. I seem to have the best sleep when it's raining with thunder. BUT that doesn't happen here very often. Happy fathers day!
Thanks for watching. Good to know you don't get disturbed by inclement weather. All the best!
GREAT VID PETE, if it ain't raining , we ain't trainning. ahaha
Thanks Eli.
Yeh...train hard...play n work easy. Cheers buddy
Catch ya in the next one.
lovely camp mate great spot
cant wait until i get a canoe
best to you and karsha
ian
Thanks Ian.
Yep was great location & weather.
Regards from me & wwwoooofff from safari dog lol
Cheers!
rain on *insert fabric of your choice* = best sound in the world. wish me luck am going bivvy wildcamping for the first time on friday, practice for a lakes wildcamp, hopefully i'll figure out how the tarp works pretty quick!!
Yes the sound of all types of weather's nice to experience - breeze, winds, rain on ones shelter for sure. Hope your wild camp went safe & well!
it did thanks. ran out of pegs so had to improvise. off to the lakes up heron pike at the end of july, with more pegs this time haha
Cheers muchly for your positive & complimentary words Q. I certainly enjoy enduring natures elements, the lightening was a sight to behold.
OTAS & ATB
Such an inspiring channel, I picked up a Sevylor Rio from an eBay'er today after watching some of your videos :)
Thanks for your interest! Steady & safe on the waters, good times to come :-)
Great vid Pete nice camp as always my friend ! enjoyed ! atb john
Thanks for joining the journey John & cheers for the good words.
ATB!
Cheers!
Your breakfast looked amazing !
Tasted good as well :-)
Loved the video ( and the dog!).
+Peter Horrocks Nice one, thanks!
Cheers
Wilco ! !
Nice vid pal, where abouts is that? like the talking on the vid too, learnt one neat trick from this vid so many thanks.
Ben Jnr Thanks, good to know the vid's of interest/help.
Great stuff!
Thanks a lot!!!!
Enjoyed the video as usual, can you tell me what the model number is of your Sevylor Colorado . paul.
Glad you liked it. KCC335HF. Cheers
Loved the video .. especially the thunderstorm. sweet. But why does the dog whimper and cry when you pay her any attention?
+embrisa Thanks for watching. Dogs don't just whimper in distress, she's fine simply her way of responding without getting over excited.
Thanks. :)
Awesome camp break that hammock out!
Cheers!
Monkeying around in a hammock maybe in the near future :-)
great vid like always!
ATB!!
I've been watching your videos for a awhile now, and I just came across yourself on Doomsday preppers. It was pretty awesome!!!
Thanks for your continued interest. Good to know you liked the Nat' Geo' documentary. All the best!
great vid pete ,,, all the best kenny
Thanks Kenny, glad you liked it.
MINDWISEMAN thank you for getting back to me yes I we'll defently watch those as well safe travels my friend
Michael Rhoades Out there & safe back at you

Thanks a lot for your comment.
ATB from me & safari dog!
good to see you on the water ways again bud
Thanks a lot pete, yes it was great to return in the canoe after too long a break (adverse river conditions & canoe repair)...bang on it again soon.
Cheers!
Awesome video, nice watch by the way ;).
Thanks Jay. All the best & thanks for your interest in M.O.D.
MINDWISEMAN you spelt lightning wrong
volthunter3 Derrrrrrrrr oh yeh
lol XD
Great vid man
Cheers mate, glad you liked it.
MINDWISEMAN
No worries mate
Some of those nettles would have been lovely with your burgers and spuds mate ;-)
Man there was certainly a plantation going on there lol. Nettle, goosegrass, oatmeal & chopped bacon rolled into balls and light fired.....spot on yummy trail food :-)
I'll take your good advice.
Nice to see you out and about again with your partner in crime ATB Scotty
Thanks Scotty, it was great to return in the canoe with safari dog for a few days out. Cheers!
Thanks Pete. Will do. ATB Chris
:-) !!
Is the canoe steady on the water
As steady as any good inflatable should be, plus the experience of the paddler knowing how to manoeuvre/navigate a bit different to hard shells.
Thank you)))
What kind of canoe is that?
Sevylor Colorado 2008 model
the back waters are cool!!
hey your one video away from 100! what are you going to do for that one!!
Eli Garretson Yeh the back waters are more laid back for sure Eli.
No.100 happened to be 4 of us overnight in the woods the other week. Didn't really consider a celebratory vid as such, may highlight it in the future :-)
great job!
Hope to hear bck soon
grate vds you won't to look at the Nautiraid Kayak
Thanks Stephen.
Checked em out a little while ago, the ali tubular ones aren't much heavier than my inflatable (military version much heavier spec etc - built for more heavy duty purpose), I prefer the open canoe with buoyancy aid protection.
Pete my Dogs are so old they cant hear either, but they follow my hand signs. I've uploaded a couple of videos if you would like checkem out.
Never mind.
Great weekend
On contamination, remember eyes are a way in.. ie; you get something your eyes, our first impulse is to rub them with our hands, just wanted to share.
Thanks
