    Hi! Do you recommend doing the longer answer questions first?

    • @LaraMegan
      @LaraMegan  2 года назад +1

      That is completely up to you, I mentioned in the video making notes around each of the larger questions at the start regardless of if you write the questions first or not. I don’t think it matters the order that you answer the questions, as long as you don’t miss any out it’s up to you!! X

    hi I have found your videos really helpful, is it possible if you could see whether this is a good practice paragraph for a 12 or 20 marker..
    Access to particular energy resources greatly depends on the location of a country. This is because primary sources such as fossil fuels, solar radiation and sources of rivers are available unevenly across the globe. In Norway, for instance, 98% of electricity is derived from hydroelectric power because its geography allows exploitation of deep valleys and waterfalls to build dams. This indicates that a country's access and energy consumption can often heavily rely on the resource that is most abundant, implying that physical availability is important in determining energy mix as well. Still, it could be argued that countries opting for a diversified mix of domestic and foreign sources, limits the importance of location.

      Hey I hope this is helpful, I’ve added a few comments in brackets which i hope is useful!
      Access to particular energy resources greatly
      depends on the location of a country (Good! This is your point). This is because primary sources such as fossil fuels, solar radiation and sources of rivers are available unevenly across the globe (this sentence is essentially just the first sentence reworded - ACTION maybe reword = access to primary resources is dependent on levels of accessibility to the sea, location of fossil fuels and land able to be used for renewable resources).
      In Norway, for instance, 98% of electricity is derived from hydroelectric power because its geography allows exploitation of deep valleys and waterfalls to build dams (Yes! This Is your evidence! - maybe give another example of a different country as well to support your pint further) This indicates that a country's access and energy consumption can often heavily rely on the resource that is most abundant, implying that physical availability is important in determining energy mix as well (link this back to the question - talk specifically about the role of landscape to link it to your point of this paragraph). Still, it could be argued that countries opting for a diversified mix of domestic and foreign sources, limits the importance of location.
