    sir u are the most awesome and the best teacher i have ever encountered in my life. u sacrificed a lot just to become a teacher so thank you so much. by becoming a teacher and uploading these videos u have helped many people and i salute u for that. u are a true hero because u made me fall in love with physics again and u are a living proof that teachers are the block builders of a society. you teach physics so good that one thinks its too good to be true. thank you once again and God bless you.

    • @aditisharma2742
      @aditisharma2742 7 лет назад

      coil is fixed around the soft iron core . therefore when the cylinder moves the coil which is wrapped around the coil also rotates . hence both including cylinder move

    Sir,
    in introduction, you have written “ a device to sense and measure electric current” - galvanometer
    Sir but ammeter is also a device to measure a current...
    When these both are same . Then why we needed a galvanometer..????

When we pass current through a conductor then a magnetic field is set up .In galvanometer we also pass current through the conductor. , which also establish a magnetic field .Does this magnetic field do not effect the magnetic field produced by the permanent magnets? • @sheetalpahadi
      @sheetalpahadi 8 лет назад

      Rizwan ghani Search on google by typing "calculation of torque". It shows an image. See that, you will understand very nicely. Also read the statement which is shown along with the image. I too had the SAME confusion. ☺

      yes we can use cos theta but in that case the theta will be between plane of area and B we will not use area vector

    sir soft iron core hi kyu hotha hai

    • @aditisharma2742
      @aditisharma2742 7 лет назад +1

      if the soft iron cylinder were removed (if the radial field were not present in the moving coil galvanometer) , then the torque would be BINAsin0 and I would be proportional to alpha/sin0. the scale would then be non linear and difficult to read/measure accurately.
