Always like to hear John speak, comes across as a very genuine person with no jealously towards another jockey, gracious, & a brilliant horseman & champion jockey himself
Since Racing went from Channel 4 to ITV & dropped the likes of John Francombe n Alistair Downe in the process it's never bn anywhere near as gd as it was. Apart from AP, Ruby, n Mick Fitz the rest of the regulars r a bunch of clowns!
If only these gentlemen were back on Channel 4! Missed greatly and wonderfully intelligent and insightful.

tina may i just say....having followed racing for many many years...many jockeys...from moderate to great champions ...have fallen and very very sadly horses have died...tony was distraught at glorias death..it would seem very unfair to jùdge a great champion...on this tragic accident...or blot his character...but i do respect your opinion.ian.
