Not the best really. ISUZU MUX and Force Gorkha are more capable than this one... but yes, considering the price of MUX and Quality of Gorkha... this is a sweet and charming choice

Wow! Beautiful ! Kass Plateau is superb. The best video on the Jeep Compass I've seen till now. Enough of the specs and BHP and Torque figures, blah, blah; you guys haven't wasted your breath on any of those but shown us what it can do. I've had 2 Petrol LHD Jeeps in my time and a Gypsy, so this is the sort of thing I'm familiar with and relate to....

Nice! But should have been uncut @ most of the tough parts. The cuts made it look like you'll didn't want to show if the jeep went through the rough completely.

There's a paved road to come to the place, which the Alto may have taken. We went to the top from the other side, taking a treacherous trail through the wild

what different modes of car you used to drive in this types of road.....how the hill climbing response on muddy platform....how was traction control performed,body role...
+Nikhil Kadu we mostly bused Auto and Mud mode. Hill climbing on slippery surfaces was pretty amazing. Traction was managed beautifully

Hey! On paper its ground clearence is just 178 mm. So does it affect while off-roading.

As per the new arai rule the GC is showing with the full load capacity. actual is 220 mm
One small question, Does that little plastic bit under the front bumper scrape during off roading ? If so is it bad ?

Hello sir I want to buy the Jeep compass sport variant over the creta,xuv500 and Hexa.Is it a good choice...??I am buying the SPORT variant because the power and driveability is same only some features are missing.But i am bit confused which fuel type to choose from Petrol or diesel.Cause I am 95% urban user and casual drive.If Diesal,will it be any problem after 3-4 years for example engine noise,reliability,spare parts etc.What would you say sir.Plzzzzzzzzzz answer my two questions that, Is sport variant a good choice over the other two models and which fuel type to choose from.plzzzzzzzzzzzz suggest sir it will be very grateful to me....??

Diesel is a great option too, but it costs extra. For basic city use and occasional highway run, petrol Sport variant is fine
Raj Talukdar bhai...petrol tu besi smooth hoi with turbo petrol engine. Diesel tu clattering sound hoi thake aru nutun engine tu tried and tested nohoi. Petrol tu tried and tested hoi.
Raj Talukdar please do a personal test drive first and which comforts you then you can pick it up. Fiats diesel engine will never die out , they don't scream like Toyota engines fiats engines are refined and can run many lakhs without issues! Hexa is a good choice
If you change to sand mode will it deflate the tyres? I feel Indian version should have had same features as that of European..

Is there a Petrol 4X4 with Automatic Transmission in their line up ? I'm aware they have a Petrol 2WD Auto Transmission on sale.
jimmy sanjana yes, they do have a petrol 2WD auto. There's no 4x4 petrol version though

In the way alto offroading power was shown
The Alto came from the tar road, we took the off road route
But its ground clearance is quite low, which is essential for off-roading.

Motoroids that clean eh? Did not happen to me in any of my 4 trips to leh 😊 my car was a mess every time! And I could always see a horizontal line showing till where the car was submerged. The compass seems to have been deep diving 😊
Sunil Naraine well it wasn't Leh for sure. It was a short two day trip in humble Maharashtra. You'll see the muck if you look closely. Plus, it was raining all through - pretty evident in the video

Muhammed Amal no it’s not it has a lower lid on the bumper that scraps the floor easily ..the trail hawk version isn’t launched here it has revamped bumpers and good ground clearance ..talking about ground clearance endeavour has 230 mm and fortuner has 220 mm and duster has 205 mm and compass about the same trust me it’s a soft roader without the trackhawk version which has an additional rock mode and perfect crawl ratio..and it’s an awd for off-road we need lsd known as limited slip differential which hexa ,thar has and work perfectly even jeep 🚙 rubicon aka wrangler has one ..but awd of BMW x 1 is much better as it sends 100 % torque to one wheel just in case ..yes it’s a good car but nothing extraordinary..there is torque steer in this vehicle and it’s a top heavy vehicle ..the nose doesn’t dive into corners ..I had 2013 freelander and boy it was a great machine but again range rovers have reliability issues so as soon the warranty expires I traded one for a used 2015 prado some 40000 km and boy o don’t need anything else now ...
Muhammed Amal no you can’t tweak the suspension it would upset the stability of vehicle they use koni suspension dampers on the compass which are impossible to replace as they are tuned to dynamics of car ...and a full time 4wd fortuner does the trick trust me they don’t call it iron man for nothing ...

bad drive- too hard suspension- drove this as a test drive- overpriced like all the other Jeeps- wouldn't touch it

Thar is a different segment altogether. That one's a different monster. We are talking premium cars with all the comforts and conveniences. This one's really a terrifiic off roader for the price and segment

Bharath M bro,talking of capablities,gypsy and thar are unmatched.There is a thing known as "luxury off roading" and compass excells in it segment in off roading capablities.
I own a gypsy,a compass and a mahundra jeep cj.Trust me,these machines don't match each other in some way or the another.
Is Thar a premium offroader to be compared ...... Compare the standards of the cars mate . They're all together of different league .
Nothing great. My 15 year old vehicle can do all that with ease even today.
