I've been watching your videos for five years, back then I was a flight instructor...I've learned so much from you, and now as a Line Check Airman for an airline I try to pass along your knowledge and professionalism. Thank you for setting the bar high.
The little tips and tricks you have are genius. Approaching the flap lever from above so if you grab the gear lever by mistake you don't drop the plane onto its belly. Neat trick!
It has happened and it will happen. In the Cessna 210, 50% of the landing gear related accidents are "pilot induced". This is why insurance companies do not like aircraft with retractable landing gear. Cirrus worked a way around this. Happy Landings, Guido
A new video from Guido! Just the most excellent news. :) Can never have enough 210 flying! Another precision professional example from the master of inflight flight-deck video making. Cheers from New Zealand, David.
Mr. Guido i watch your channel for over 5 years and i try to learn from you all your professionalism and attention to details as it is shown in all your videos so one day when i managed to be a pilot i can be as excellent pilot as you are.

Excellent video, I thoroughly enjoyed going through the thought process behind each of your actions, it helps to explain things to people from a non aviation background. I used to go up with a friend of mine in a Cessna 172 many years ago, with the intention of learning to fly, unfortunately, life throws distractions in the way. I still have some of the Basic flight books and who knows, with retirement not too far away I just may pick it up again. Thank you for your time and Valuable Knowledge.

It was great to see a new video from you. What a beautiful place and perfectly served by general aviation. Love the 210. Thank you and hope you are well.
I really appreciated, and was impressed by the fact that you put all of your thought processes regarding each action you took and the reasoning behind it into text on your video so we could follow along with the process if exactly what you, as a pilot are thinking of about cautions and concerns! I'm not a pilot so perhaps many of the items you mentioned are just normal for any pilot familiar with landing at strips like this? But something about how you did everything tells me it comes from having a great deal of experience learned from operating in these conditions. Great video! Thanks for posting it so dreamers such as I can enjoy flying too!

Once again, your video shows us that as much as we may love the cessna line, Never trust the fuel gauges!

The new C172/182/206 aircraft have very reliable fuel gauges though.
I hear that there are also very good after merket products available.

Great video, "look-say-touch" is very valuable to learn and implement into your own flying.
Hi Noel,

Happy Landings,

I have been wanting to fly the C210 for a long time. Cockpit layout is similar to the C337 which I have previously flown in a fish spotting operation.
Hi Ryan,
yes, very very similar the cockpit C210/337, except the throttle quadrant obviously. Even the gear system is identical but not sure if the 337 has an engine driven hydraulic pump for the gear. Electric pump in the (newer) 210.
I have seen fish spotting aircraft at a small airport in NC.
Interesting job that requires a strong bladder...
Happy Landings,
Capt. Guido
@@GuidoWarnecke yes I believe the gear is the same. F models and older are equipped with front engine driven pump, G models came with the electric driven pump. The F model 337 I did my centreline thrust endorsement in had the factory optional rear engine pump too (for Contingency and quicker retraction)
