For example, Deborah. “Deborah, a prophetess, the wife of Lappidoth, was judging Israel at that time. She used to sit under the palm of Deborah between Ramah and Bethel in the hill country of Ephraim, and the people of Israel came up to her for judgment” Judges 4:4-5 You see, Deborah had political authority and people respected her decision. When Paul says, “I do not permit a woman to have authority over a man” he’s not giving a permanent and timeless principle from God. In fact, God does not have that policy. Paul’s policy may have been appropriate for first-century Ephesus, but we have evidence in the Bible that it is NOT a statement about the way that God wants his people to work together at all times and in all places. Sometimes it’s better to understand the context of certain verse(s) and not just read it literally and misinterpret the verse.
@@koolkid1234ism I do agree that female pastors aren't a biblical way of leadership. But I also don't see the Bible use the word pastor as the ones leading a church. I don't see para-church ministries like BibleProject in the Bible. But praise God for working mightily through both women and men pastors and para-church ministries! And may we as the people of God find back to the way of doing church the way the Bible depicts it!

They also have a theory that every time God was talking with anyone here on earth it is the “Angel of God” (a specific angel that speaks for God = not God speaking directly, therefore no God on earth until Jesus). 2023 was a year of diving headfirst into the BibleProject resources - videos, podcasts and the classroom. My faith has been fanned into flame and the Bible has come alive in a new way. So pumped for the Sermon on the Mount!
I'm brazilian and I love the Bible Project! Everything is done with so much effort and dedication that the Glory of God is clear to whoever listens to!
1. The sermon on the mount is an amazing topic to devote to. 2. The opportunity to join in as a community and walk through its words, meaning, and purpose is exciting and invigorating! Tim, Jon, the research team, and all the artistic designers I’m sure will present this in a way that draws passion and a new light to this. I know, personally, the BibleProject has helped forge my understanding of the Bible and my desire to read it in its entirety. Tim’s pastoral work and the online classes has also been a huge help too as his passion for the word is contagious. Thank you all for your love of the Bible. You are definitely lights in this world!

Maybe don't put so much stock in the an extremely un-verifiable source like the bible?
The production on this video is amazing. The blending of real sets and animation. That’s just the surface level though, watching this video and hearing the words of Jesus brings me to a place of true worship. I’m so excited to walk through this during 2024.

I am so thankful that, in a world that pushes quick turnover and results, the Bible Project Team took multiple years to develop this. It is so abundantly clear that thought and prayer were behind every stroke. I started crying after I finished the video and had to pray. It was so overwhelming, in a great way. Super excited! My friends and I were blessed to go to the Bible Project today. We got a wonderful tour. We actually met Tim & John and John's parents! It was super, super, super exciting! Actually got to see the props for the Sermon on the Mount. It was just amazing! I'm so just ecstatic that we were able to see everything that you see, including mountain, the beautiful trees, the temples, and the scrolls. It was just beautiful! We also talked with animation and saw how they create everything.
i believe fully it was never meant to be a load of complicated theology with many many angles and words i believe its meant to be simple and practical as possible so ALL understand from the highly educated scholar to the uneducated ...and that what i believe Jesus meant in this scripture Mathew 11.30-For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
The animation is mind-blowing. Absolutely in love with the artstyle and the beautiful message it carries. Props to everyone involved, and I can't wait to see the rest of the series.
THIS ANIMATION IS AMAZING!!! The timing and colors and flow (especially at 2:13 ) really captured my eye and made this incredibly fun to watch. After being through the bible in it's raw form 2 times or so and listening to your videos, I have a firm biblical worldview and it's both infinitely beautiful and terrifying! I just love using the Bible Project. My preacher recommended it to me to better understand scripture.

The balance of biblical exposition and artistic interpretation is impeccable, as a visual artist myself I cherish the parables of Jesus as being the most beautiful and artistic, knowing he is not only appealing to the learned but also to the simple. I'm so excited for this!

What to believe to go to heaven !! : Realize you are a sinner being sorry. Sin is lying, evil thoughts, lust, etc.Therefore, do not trust in your own works to go to heaven because you realize, being a sinner, you cannot offer the perfect blood sacrifice that God requires to pay for sin. Instead, believe, meaning fully trust, that in Christ's love for you, on the cross, His one perfect blood sacrifice; when Christ bled, suffered and died, in your place, paid for your sins in full, past, present and future ! Believe that Jesus rose from the dead ! Believe Jesus is God Almighty, God the Son, alive for evermore ! And believe that the sinless blood of Jesus Christ is what cleanses you from all sin, which purifies your soul ! Then the Lord Jesus will forgive you, save you from hell and give you eternal life, and you will be sealed with the Holy Spirit who will dwell within you forever ! And thank Jesus ! Super excited! My friends and I were blessed to go to the Bible Project today. We got a wonderful tour. We actually met Tim & John and John's parents! It was super, super, super exciting! Actually got to see the props for the Sermon on the Mount. It was just amazing! I'm so just ecstatic that we were able to see everything that you see, including mountain, the beautiful trees, the temples, and the scrolls. It was just beautiful! We also talked with animation and saw how they create everything.
Love anything by the Bible Project! They break it all down, so anyone can understand.
i believe fully it was never meant to be a load of complicated theology with many many angles and words
i believe its meant to be simple and practical as possible so ALL understand
from the highly educated scholar to the uneducated ...and that what i believe Jesus meant in this scripture

THIS ANIMATION IS AMAZING!!! The timing and colors and flow (especially at 2:13 ) really captured my eye and made this incredibly fun to watch. After being through the bible in it's raw form 2 times or so and listening to your videos, I have a firm biblical worldview and it's both infinitely beautiful and terrifying!
