Yes, Teresa's strength was just amazing. She took on 3 single digits all by herself, and didn't even have to awaken at all in the beginning. When she needed to turn it up, her eye color changed and that's only 10% of full power!!! 10%...With that said it'd be scary (yet awesome) to see her even half awaken! Great anime. So well done. I just hope they continue the series, (change the ending a bit on the last anime) and just follow the Manga, and they'd be good to go! There's still a chance!

Riful went against the abyss feeders and 2 claymores who can get the same power as a abyss one. Which then she still kept her ground, until pric the most powerful of them all, kills her.

My theory(read: an unfounded guess) revolves around what makes Teresa invincible(which we're trying 2 figure out. I'm not talking about her hesitancy or weakness- and don't say it's because of her Yoki reading abilities but something more than that), that even Priscilla Noelle Sophia Irene could not defeat Teresa. This was admitted by Irene herself when she said she erred underestimating Teresa's skill.

Second yes no matter how strong some thing is, if you can take small bites from it over time. It will lose sooner are later. On top of that, it was the ori who made the abyss and so of course they would know all about them, and in the end be able to fig out how to take them out. On top of that beth and alice had the same power as a abyss had.

This character is way stronger than what people think and the thing is she never showed her true potential on the manga, nor on the anime. i hated how teresa died but my heart skipped a beat when i read the manga about those 3 previous number 1's being resurrected and then transforming into awakened beings imagine teresa being resurrected :D they did say that clare had a piece of teresa's flesh in her but thats just a piece. it would make for a awsome plot for priscilla v teresa
damn Priscilla, she was too inexperienced with her yoki limit. Teresa was such a badass, I mean ranked #1 in the organization. Priscilla should have known she had no chance against Teresa of the Faint Smile. At least she didn't kill Quick Sword Ilena or Clare. I loved the series. I would kill for another season.

I do agree, it was a cheapshot, but because of her interactions with Clare, she had lost her edge in battle and that was the result of it. She had multiple opportunities to kill her before that happened but she didn't. It's sad but she kinda killed herself in a way.

I have a theory: I think Teresa was awakened or became an awakened being when she had shed tears after realizing how much Claire loved here. Does anybody think that an emotion as intense as love can awaken one's true powers- I think- as in Teresa's case, that's why she was so powerful. That she was already an awakened being (although not in a hideous form) when she fought the other Claymores.
If that did happen, Priscilla would not stand a chance, Teresa only used 10% of her yoki to beat a nearly awakened Priscilla. I would love to see Teresa;s awakened form though.

No, some people can't stand Clare but love Teresa. I'm not a big fan of Clare personally. But I think Teresa is freaking awesome. And, I don't like Pricilla that much because ....I don't. That's all. I like Ophelia and some people consider her a villain. I like Riful and people consider her a villain.
guess i should say *!!!SPOILER ALERT!!!* first just to make sure i don't spoil anything for ppl beth/alice are pretty much abyss ones themselves as thats pretty much the name given to the ranked 1 fighters that awaken. So it's not really a suprise that they have similar combat capabilities. I gotta say that i was dissapointed when they both died like they weren't really that big of a deal. I mean isley got eaten by wannabe zombies
With the argument with who is more powerful and why Teresa was clearly more powerful i would like two point out what happened in star wars with anakin and obi one now clearly obi one would beat anakin in a fair fight he was one of the head Jedi yet he LOST but not in a fair fight but by a cowardly unexpected attack. Basically it dosnt matter how badass you are if you get stab in the back/ surprise ambushes you or you lower your guard you can be beaten but that still dosnt mean you would loose in a fair fight!!!

I don't think there's been a stronger Claymore than her even currently in the manga. She could already kill Abyssals before she died to that cheapshot. :(
