  • Soileater-One Take Wednesday, Episode 13: In this video Dan goes over his SWAT battle belt IFAK (Individual First Aid Kit) and it contents. Keeping your IFAK clean, organized and in working order is key for quickly utilizing its contents in an emergency situation. Make sure you are replacing the contents when they begin to look worn and weathered.

    Love how you just start the video and don't have all the rock and roll flashy range shooting nonsense intro that everyone else does. Please keep your videos this way sir. Be safe and take care brother. God bless.

      Just trying to get the info out there. Don’t have the time to make it flashy. Glad you liked it.

    Well done Dan. The only thing I would add besides better nitrile gloves that u eluded to would be some quality tape and an extra sharpie. Maybe an extra compressed gauze. I know you know what your doing just a simple suggestion looking at my own IFAK. Looking forward to the next video, thanks!

      AD Medic and those recommendations are spot on. Right now we're finding that most injuries often require more gauze than what's in most IFAK's. Tape and sharpies are also a staple but can also be stored on your kit

      Appreciate the input. Swapped out the gloves last night with some fresh ones. Anyone who has worked on someone in the field knows very quickly that this kit is used up very quickly. It’s that balance of bulk and mobility / comfort vs medical gear. That’s why that aid and litter bag stays at breach. Sharpie is in the BMTH V3 😉

      Oh absolutely. Since I carry an aid bag that's where I carry most of my stuff and try to keep my IFAK as minimal as possible. Since you're working with a team and also have a medic on board it makes sense to not carry as much. @@SoileaterYT

      I have a Fanny pack I throw on for some stuff also, with more med gear in it. And breaching rounds.

      Nothing in these videos is rehearsed lol. It’s just me being super ridged trying to get better at talking on camera. Sometimes my actual personality gets out. 🤣😂 talking on camera is hard for me, so I am trading you guys the information I have, for practice.

    How is it at the 6 o’clock sitting in a vehicle day in day out?

    • @SoileaterYT
      @SoileaterYT  3 месяца назад

      I don’t use my swat belt for my daily function. That is the task force belt where I wear the roll 1 on my plate carrier. The STOP at the 6 o clock and sitting in a vehicle will get uncomfortable quickly.
