Arguably, MudRunner is a bit more realistic than SnowRunner, an example being the severe lack of frame bending in SnowRunner Compared to MudRunner.

I'd say spintires was the best for physics though, with each version the challenge seems to reduce and mud becomes less slippy
I saw a video comparison between the two the other day. Mud runners frame bending is definitely way too extreme. Ladder frame are not designed to flex like that.
Oh I love the ute trays! Lots of Australian modding servers on Discord and they're making stuff like the Falcon, but its mostly Offroading stuff. Love the content Fill!
falcons and commodores are very ubiquitous here, as offroading isn't very hard to do in a road cars here

A good Australian 4WD map is Glass House Mountains. I think it's called 'Glass View Mountains' in Beamng, but it's a beautiful 4WD map inspired by the Glass House Mountains in Queensland.
I think the word you were looking for was "courier." You were a courier for a truck workshop. You weren't delivering the final product, you were moving small items that needed immediate transport from A to B.

Somebody did make an ARB bullbar for beam. Should work good with this. Otherwise there is plenty of offroad stuff by people like NIX if you wanna find something vaguely like what we use in aus. :P

I can agree that yes sometimes having a lifted vehicle in Australia have no merit but if you go to some of the more remote locations or seek out 4wding tracks it can be really challenging. You might see vehicles with big lift kits on the street but there is a good chance that they often take their car offroading, you are just more likely to see them on the street as they daily drive it.

I wish beam would introduce terrain deformation it would be the best offroad sim
I think it'd add a lot, but to get better offroading it's not totally necessary. What they need to do is add more parameters to ground physics, because technically everything is either solid and grippy, or a liquid haha

I love off-roading and customization in beam, I loosened the Barstow’s suspension and gave it larger front wheeled and off-road rear wheels and just have fun full out on Johnson valley trails

And the standard holden comodor is a GM. Basically a pontiac g8, like a lot of Australian cars, they are American.

That mod is a great representation of the aussies ,also i know that you said that you dislike suggestion so you dont have to do it but is there a way for 4 wheel steering ,and i dont mean full out steering i mean like on the RollsRoyce phantom and the culinan (just a slight turn from the wheels👍

@@fillman86not really, they only became somewhat prominent after they bought Chrysler, but most of the Fiat imports were rebadged for the US market. Only Fiat branded car I can recall here was a 500 that was rented by our family.

this just makes me want to see someone bring strata florida (the welsh trail which entitled walkers are trying to claim as a hikers trail like many other off road trails, which it is not, key words being off and road) i would also like to see Australian trails like cape york, i would love to experience it, but off road in beamng is kinda weirdly slept on

@@fillman86 aye, but i have seen some mods trying to bring spintires and mud runner level off road to beamng, its rather fascinating but currently limited since beamng does not have voxel deformation
also fun fact you may find useful for a random project, beamng has inbuilt code for anti lag turbos and from what i have seen it actually fully works despite being completely unused and untouched for literal years

Mate I get bogged at work, I slip and slide sideways in my Patrol ute on the haul road when it rains. My jobsite has to be prepared with a D9 or D10 bulldozer. Settle down, and that can happen right in Newcastle or way out in the country.
I used to live about 20km down gravel roads from a major country town, I went through about 6-7 tyre plugs in a year and 3 tyres, on a holden crewman, ripping them up.
The creek was up one time and I flooded the engine, saved it by pulling the plugs and turning it over - Wouldn't have happened with a snorkel, not to mention dusting my engine - Everyone who lives down dirt roads should put one on their cars, even before a bull bar.
I had a commie VY and hit a roo out in western queensland - Wasn't a fun trip back with a blown radiator, jumping at shadows.
So I'm not gonna go plowing into things but I'm really not that worried with a 4-8mm steel roo bar, and lights so.
Got bogged in RWD trucks, got bogged in utes, heck I almost got bogged in a 4x4, front & rear steer telehandler with tractor tyres, more than once.
You laugh about it with your mates, but if that happens on a jobsite and some safety bird comes rolling up in her Prado in a foul mood, who knows? You might get kicked off site.
So throw lockers in and a winch, I fit it myself - thats from $3,350-$6,000.

No nissan patrols no Toyota Hiluxs no other Australian cars and Ute’s no landrover defenders in all year models, yes ik some games have landrover defenders but that are either the new defender or the 90 series
there's been like 3 australian car companies. Holden and ford were both american, Mitsubishi was on the same level too, but they're japanese. Nissan patrols and hiluxes are japanese too, whilst land rover is british hahaha
the only fully australian car companies that I know of were brabham, bolwell and elfin. None of which I believe had australian engines though
What i mean to say is you don’t really see Australian versions of car brands for example you wont find a 79 series Toyota land-cruiser fully kited out in America unless its been imported

The piccolina IS italian, but mechanically it's based on the VW beetle. Period!
The body is likely inspired by the original Fiat 600, the fiat 500 is MUCH smaller and much less powerful than the Autobello piccolina. People often don't realise how small a 500 is.

Did ya hear Ford is going to sell the F-150 here? They are only going to sell two trims (neither of them are the Raptor), the first one is around $105k and the second is like $150k. It is ridiculous, and you know people are going to buy them because, after all, the LandCruiser 70 is one of the best selling vehicles in this entire country.

If you want to see a real car modded into mudrunner (and possibly snowrunner) go check out Not Stock's Trish the Troopy. It is based off my brother real 75 series landcruiser troopy and it is built to go anywhere in Australia you could possibly think of. The Johnson Valley Mountain would be a breeze with it

tbh i love utes the only Utes we had in America was the Ford Ranchero the the Chevrolet El Camino i don't understand why Car manufacturers discontinued the ute, they're really useful, not everyone wants a truck but people want the use of a truck, it sucks they're no longer with us

Look, I've seen some weird vehicles in Beamng Drive and then there's odd tank designs in Sprocket and even worse cursed locomotive designs that somehow existed especially by the Brits, undeniably the scum of Europe, but this is the most irregular abomination I've ever seen in Beamng drive. It's like part of an 100-ton Hopper was cut off, flipped upside down and thrown on the back of a pick-up that looks like it's supposed to be a hybrid between a 1980s Ford F150 and 1997 Dodge Ram 1500.
I can tolerate the odd Australian locomotive designs, but this Australian abomination I cannot.

So utes as in the el Camino aren’t being sold or pickups in general? If y’all ain’t got pickup trucks then America needs to invade Australia and issue big v8 pickups to everyone 😂 and in southeast America you need the really wide tires in most offroad parks to get traction since it’s mainly limestone

@fillman86 the holden commodore is a rebadged looks to be an impala ss or just a chevy ss and there is a ute version that seems to be loosely based on the chevy ssr but holden is a subsidiary of GM

@@monkeyman9105 don't get me wrong I like utes, but modern trucks are so luxurious that it makes little sense to make them anymore. Plus you can buy small trucks like the Ranger, or Colorado. Which you can still get with 4 doors or 2 depending on what you want.
