Agreed - They've put JP through WAY too much misery however, playing devil's advocate... This made him ace in these scenes.

Oh my OA I’m so glad John Paul was there to help Lucas and he even mentioned his Ex-Boyfriend Craig Dean (the last time he was mentioned was when he was telling Carter about this tambien) still I’m so proud of him. I know, I know what you’re all thinking about Carter “This is all Carter’s fault”, “Carter’s needs to be locked up”, “Carter’s a disgusting vile man” blah blah blah but I STILL believe that there’s redemption for him and he can still be with John Paul by the look in his eyes of this video (and Erica Love’s first look video from yesterday) it made me think two things about that, one he’s confused about this idea but he’s still on board with it or two he’s slowly realizing that this isn’t a good idea and he’ll even feel guilty about putting Lucas in the hospital next week. I could be wrong about number two you know People but I just hope I’m 100% wrong about number one. 😟🤞🏻

This went real dark, real quick. Dutch viewer here... don't know holyoaks, but it sounds like this is going to be a terrible pride to remember.
Pride is supposed to be a happy inclusive gathering where anyone nomatter their gender and sexuality (gay, straight, bisexual or which ever other you'd fancy) could celebrate the right to be yourself. Without judgement or persecution.
I feel sad for the confused young lad, that his first pride wont be anyting like that... It is heartbreaking!

And don’t Lucas end up getting stabbed?… God doesn’t need any help. It’s funny how people can be extreme in violence but never in love. And JP, I would say it’s about 80% his own fear and 20% Carter &Declan. They put him over the edge. The poor guy has never seen a happy healthy gay relationship. His mom was killed because of a crazy gay man. He’s gay. He’s scared and well no one in that village has a healthy happy relationship. He’s traumatized and now he’s brainwashed to think doing this is going to help him get relief. I mean look at Ste, he joined an alt right hate group years ago. Trauma begets trauma. His hatred as well as others in that group comes from trauma that was ignored, deflected, abused. Plus, when is Diane and the family seeing that GP and an actual therapist? They keep going to the wrong people. They’re never going to get help this way. No one they know has a child who is trans or thinking about being trans.Everyone else either is hateful or came from a traumatic era where they transition as an adult and have ptsd. They need to lock in and get proper care and guidance from people who actually have the same experience and dealing with the same issues. Their whole family will implode if they continue this way.
