Old Handmade Wood Lathe Restoration

In this video, I restore an old handmade wood lathe, made by someone very talented. It's a one-off, so there's no dealer catalogue this time. It's also hard to guess the date of manufacture. Some bolts look old, others rather recent.
In any case, it's a beautiful tool that really deserves a second life.

Very nice display model, almost too pretty to use. Looks like an old sewing machine motor would be a good fit to power this with. The speed could be controlled by the foot pedal. Thanks for sharing and good luck with your channel. 😊👍👏🤝
