I bought houses in southern CA in 2012 and 2013. Many told me it was a big mistake because there was going to be a wave of shadow inventory released by the banks and that prices would crash again. Wrong.
Haha! I remember that...all the talk about "shadow inventory!" Where'd it go? 😂
I don’t see delinquencies rising unless there’s an I crease in unemployment. As you said, though, that doesn’t factor in affordability. Rates really aren’t the problem. The average person just can’t afford the average home.
That’s why I worked hard as an Ironworker for 9 years In comifornia to save over 20% and now taking it to Texas for a home that’s 2k sqf at 350k I’m only 30 god bless everyone out there struggling I feel you.
I spoke to a realtor last week. He told me he sold six townhomes in a new development in Hacienda Heights in two weeks. He says there is incredible demand. The low-income units lack qualified buyers
