Okay so I do have a little bit of some arguments. 1 drifting and car performance The game is a mix of both a racing sim and arcade So that does sort of explain why drifting is super simplified yet you do have to do a lot of pre-planning and practice RWD AWD and FWD All drift completely different like with rear wheel drive you can just use the standard ways but with all-wheel drive you have to be at an angle and you have to pretty much almost pre-slide the car into a turn like holding your handbrake FWD is really the only one that can't really drift But it is still possible if you take it at a certain angle That would explain why all wheel drive cars tend to drift a lot worse than rear wheel drive cars another thing is each vehicle not only has its own classing but it does have its own type there are three types speed based consecutive and turn base those will also affect a cars maneuverability and performance electric cars are not very good vehicles in the game like at all due to just how low of a power they actually put out so cars like the E Tron will handle a lot worse especially if it's all wheel drive and it's a speed-based car meaning it is really only good for going straight lines I understand a lot of people like super arcadey feel but I actually like how the game is right now (my personal opinion) mainly because it actually takes skill and the people that do actually learn and practice with a certain vehicle get rewarded for it compared to someone that's just hops in a car and goes at it like in something like asphalt. This is coming from someone that has gotten extremely far in rank as well and have gotten some really really good cars In terms of the physics each car weighs differently so heavier cars are going to slide much further and are going to feel like they have a lot more weight compared to more maneuverable cars for an example like the mustang some cars are going to feel extremely heavy some are going to feel extremely snappy It's all about just practicing and learning vehicle I honestly think that this is the perfect game for car guys that enjoy high speed racing Sim games.
As someone who has been playing the Taiwanese version of the game for over 5 months now... I can confidently say that you are just bad at the game, missing the point of what Racing Master is trying to do while comparing it to a game that is in a completely different genre (RM is a Sim-cade - ALU/A9 is a FULL ON Arcade) and most importantly... you are not addressing the real problems of RM! (mainly the whole Gacha system, the focus on FOMO content, the VERY Limited single-player progression and overall non-FOMO content.) (I know that you are covering the "Beta", but it would've been good if you at least addressed the real problems for a bit, cuz it didn't look like you did as much research as you should...) As much as I like your A9 content... I can't help but find this video a bit misleading and just bad covering with no real understanding of what it's talking about. sorry m8... but thats an L.
I'm playing for 3 weeks now (RACING master rank already) and damn! The physics are extremely easy to learn, i love that every car has a different handling, the graphics are beautiful, the gacha is.... Decent i guess and i Hope they don't change those facts about the game
Thanks for the insight. I agree, I am not very good at this game.... As I mentioned in the video, the handling just feels super inconsistent trying to use drifting. Do you feel that Grip is just better than drift now? Today I tried grip driving and while it doesn't feel as fun, I didn't bump into nearly as many walls. I think my mindset is still stuck with how the devs seemed to encourage drifting so much in the early betas. Obviously it wasn't as arcade as ALU, but it felt more fluid and less "real" compared to something like Forza, but that changed with recent betas. A lot of this video was just my opinion about things, and I wanted to focus more on gameplay instead of economy, since I've only been exposed to the betas. Also, for single-player, I haven't heard many complaints since I think the real appeal of this game is the PvP, but most of the people I talk to are more MP focused. Thank you for letting me know how you feel about the video, I'll take it into consideration for future RM videos. :) -Marf
@@MarfYT owo👍. I’ve been playing the beta SIDE-BY-SIDE with the Taiwanese release for 4 days now, and I kinda get what you are coming from, and I think I know exactly why the handling model is inconsistent. And I would probably address it in my stream tomorrow 😅… (Spoiler alert, it’s NOT the drifting’s fault.)
Hopefully Racing Master can have a worldwide release soon, after the Asian region gets the game and get the feedback to add/remove features, cars, maps and other racing disciplines that are popular in some certain parts of the world. This is probably something I would like to play, if it’s available on iOS/iPad OS, Google Play, Windows, Steam, or maybe on my Switch to challenge my playtime on Legends Unite. It does remind me of the older and newer Grid Auto sport games, so I think I might fit in with me revisiting Forza Motorsport 4 from time to time. Make sure you wish Afiq from my point my best wishes and I’ll be waiting for him to give us the full review on Racing Master.
So is this game out or not. There’s no where saying it’s delay and everywhere saying the game been out since March , but still not on the iOS store in America even tho it said global launch
you can't compare a game where cars drift at 530 kmh + with a game where drifting is 120 kmh or so racing master does not have nitro, 360s, punches, wallrides, air time, barrel rolls how do they target the same audience? i don't think occasionally playing with a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT TYPE OF GAME would be enough info to use for a comparison with a game that you played for years
I was going to play it earlier and it doesn't get me in the menu so after that I uninstall the game and I tried to check it again to the playstore I just realized that the game is not in the Google Play Store anymore😢
Not sure, it's netease, they really like to put worse p2w system and then just abandoned it when the games is already have less players, it such a waste if they abandoned this games, basically we can get "free" grid series cause the dev is codemaster, they've been make a pretty good and fun game before but lack of content in their updates that's why peoples abandon their games
if the make make western version I hope the characters don’t look like anime I’m really getting tired of these models in chines mobile games it’s cringe and I rather if the characters just look normal and not like anime
I haven't come across any issues of the China or tai versions of the game being p2w I'm pretty far in rank to and I have great cars I'd say this is more of a skilled based game because I've came across people who put cash into the game with no issue so either I'm just that good or y'all getting unlucky lobbies lol edit: and there are ways of getting almost everything for free like gems and high-class cars for free
drifting is so much fun once you get how to drift corners
nothing is fun in this game. the race tracks are autistic garbage.
do you have any tips? despite playing for almost 2 months i still feel like i dont really get the gist

most boring race tracks in any racing game ever. I fall asleep playing this game.
