Try Aloudy Ergonomic Memory Foam Office Chair Armrest Pads on Amazon for about $15 US. Makes any gaming chairs arms soft and will add to the longevity of the chairs arm pads.
7:50 the cushion was designed for the Noblechairs Epic which has holes at the shoulder positions for the straps to go through (where the seatbelt holes on an actual racing seat are)
10:58 the big knob thing jutting down under the seat is for adjusting that restistane you talk about :) You can also you the lever to lock the chair in a tilted back position so you don't have to keep pushing back
Thanks for a great review! Really helps. I was actually going for the Epic but I really want that extra lumbar support which i get on the Hero since I'm spending 8-9 hours while working from home. Question: I'm approx. 180cm tall and weigh around 75kg...I want to make sure I'm not "too small" for this chair. Any idea?
im pretty sure the straps for the pillow are designed to go inbetween the two sections of the chair and over the wingback parts of the chair. On the epic they go under and through the holes in the headrest. Pretty sure its the same exact pillow used across the chair models.
The big problem with Noblechairs is that the seat base is permanently tilted slightly backwards, which means the front of the (very firm) seat base digs into the back of your thighs, and you can't plant your feet on the ground properly. At least if you're six feet or below. There's no way to tilt the seat base forward to make it parallell with the floor. Also, the built in lumbar support is not vertically adjustable. The included pillows are complete garbage, and don't even fit the Hero. They're designed for the Epic. The Secretlab Titan Evo 22/23 does not have any of these problems, which is why it will soon replace my Hero Black Edition.
I chose this chair since I sit like a goblin so I prefer wider surface, just gotten the chair last week and realize only my toes can touch the floor with the lowest settings and the top of my head can barely touch the neck pillow. So the hip pillow has became my alternative neck pillow ,_, curse my shortness.
Hey man - great review. What headphones have you got for your PS4? I’m a glasses wearer too and I have tried a few but they all press too hard on side of my head which makes the glasses dig in which is uncomfortable!
Alright dude, how are you finding it after a few months use? I got one from AutoFull (chinese knockoff type brand I think) and it's pretty good. But the "leather" does get sweaty after a long shift and it squeaks and clunks a bit when I get up/move etc. Though that could be because I'm substantially larger and heavier than you. Nice Triple-E btw. ;)
Sorry mate, only just seen this! Even after all this home work, it’s still in cracking condition! The hybrid material is pretty good. Overall, quite impressed.
How tall are you? Without the lumbar pillow, would you say the integrated lumbar support is in the correct spot for you? Also, how is it after using it for a few months?
@@owenbrunet1279 How do you like the Noble Chair Hero after 2 years of using it? Is the lumbar support (without the pillow) sufficient for a tall guy like you?
best chair i eveer had, 10x better than this dxracer trash... but the chair stinks nasty the first 3 weeks and it takes some time until the chair is a bit softer.
with "fake" leathers you can expect lower quality pu-leathers to start to peel after about 3-5 years. At least that's what i've read. I used to have an AKracing gaming chair (pu leather) and it started to peel after about 3,5 years. 1 year after the first peelings, it was insanely annoying because my whole room was filled with flakes after every day of using it. High quality PU-leathers seem to flake less but those start to tear instead (I've read, so not my personal experience).
Way way to firm unfortunately. Hurts the backs of my legs after only a hour or two. Will be sending mine back for a refund which is a shame as I got the limited fallout edition. Looks the part but for £370ish I atleast expect it to be comfortable!
So the Noble Chair Hero was too firm for your likings, wich chair did you get in the end that you liked? I'm curious as well since most "gaming" marketed chairs are on the firmer side sadly.
Are they though? What's your alternative? I went on the hunt for an 'office chair' a few years ago and that's the real sham - £1,000+ for one of the 'basic' ones! The [so called gaming] chair I ultimately got from Maxnomic is by far the best for the price of any office chair I've ever used and that includes many Herman Miller & equivalent chairs.

Thanks for your input. Just a heads-up there's no step up to this series. The Epic is the entry level offering from Noblechairs.

Definitely wouldn't be too small!
why is the soundtrack for this video SO GOOD
Many many hours of finding half decent music 😂
@@JBCTR I never take notice of any music in a video, UNTIL NOW great picks man made me a sub and buy the chair not even joking.
Thanks for the review. You can adjust the tilt back tension with the knob underneath.
Found it now. Cheers for the tip 😎

STALKER - The pillow is actually designed for the epic version where there are two holes in the headrest.

how tall are you in feet and inches?
They sell shorter gas lifts for their chairs. I'm getting the -5cm one for mine, as I'm 5'6"
Hi mate. Do you know the standard Hero chair ? Is that black edition that much better ? I'm thinking about buying one...

Hi just wondering does your noble hero series black edition the arm rest wobbles?
A little. But it hasn’t got worse over time.
best chair i eveer had, 10x better than this dxracer trash... but the chair stinks nasty the first 3 weeks and it takes some time until the chair is a bit softer.
Does the black edition has softer feel sitting on than the original hero?
Will this hybrid material still peel off after a few years?
Unlikely. The chair still looks new, even after an insane amount of wear through covid home working. I’ve been quite impressed!

Did you notice a squeaking sound when rocking back ?
Nope!
Final comment; where are your desks and chest of drawers from?
Can’t remember the desks. They’re cheap ones from online. The chest is from oak furniture land
