This is a short documentary rough cut of a workshop Mestre Cobra Mansa gave at Towson University May 2012. This assignment highlights Mestre Cobras life, what Capoeira is, the Black Resistance Movement, and Kilombo Tenode - Premaculture and Capoeira Angola.

It just look alike, but is very dangerous! the others styles of capoeira be come from angola capoeira and the Angola style masters are very respected by the masters of the others styles! My master of Senzala style told me that the only one who beat him was an Angola master!

I always wondered something. Before Mestre Bimba opened his school and taught his Version of Capoeira. What was the distinction between N'golo and the others? There was non. ANd my second is what did the Slaves use in the Quilombos? It would mostly have been categorized as N'golo. So with that being said when did the Martial arts part leave and go only to Regional?

probably when it was legalized as the government would benefit from it not actually teaching how to fight in totality. it was the government that illegalized it to begin with because it was (and still is) such a dangerous art.
