Dear Finns, My home country is Germany and sometimes I would prefer to write in German, which I can do to some extent, but everyone writes in Finnish or English and then it becomes inaccurate: I found ELLI and her group by chance, she was interviewed and had such a positive aura that I was immediately taken with her. I wanted to write her an e-mail and tell her that I like to listen to her songs, but unfortunately I can't because I'm not on facebook and similar channels, I'm too old for that. I have a favourite song of hers - this song. If you don't understand a language (Finnish), you think of something that the words could mean, that the whole thing means "Windy on the moon" I would never have thought. Maybe I can write to her anyway, daily a prayer, in which I include her, maybe then I get a contact to her. Greetings to you and to ELLI and Haloo Helsinki ERNST
I’ve been listening to this song more than like 5 years? I don’t even understand tho, but I just love it. Wish I could understand what this song is about 😭
Hi fans of Haloo Helsinki, when you as a German are cut off from many leisure possibilities by Corona; like meeting friends, shopping, eating ice cream and many other nice things ,you get unusual thoughts : Because I like this song with Elli very much, I listened to it very often. At the edge of the recording room is a tall Finnish couple. When I saw the young woman for the first time, I thought, she looks like Elli, is this perhaps her sister? A Finnish viewer surely knows the answer, but I am German. Why am I asking this question? At one point in the song it sounds as if this young lady is encouraging the audience to sing along louder. Maybe she was saying something completely different? When you take your own photos, you look closely, when you film yourself, you also listen closely. Unfortunately, I don't understand Finnish.
I don't understand a single word of it but the song is so beautiful and the singer is excellent! Suomi you rock!
Mä rakastan tätä biisiä. Mahtavaa työtä, Haloo Helsinki!
