  • Hello and welcome. In today's video we take a look at the 9mm ‪@taurusfirearms‬ G3c. I don't often spend time with budget guns, but I've only heard good things about the G3c so I thought it might deserve a video. What are your thoughts on the Taurus G3c? I look forward to your comments.
Thank you for stopping by and God Bless.

Straight out of the box I feel the G3C shoots better than any other comparable firearm I have ever used…. and I have used MANY. I am truly impressed with the accuracy, quality and reliability for such a low budget price. Taurus has really come a LONG way the last couple decades or so.

Quite a change from your normal premium showing. The G3c is a great value. I've seen them as low as $226. I've had one for a couple years and it has been very reliable - WITH the right ammo. It runs all range ammo, but is somewhat picky with defense ammo. And I do carry it often when I am working around the "ranch".

@RidersRange My G2c eats everything. There is nothing it won't feed so I don't have to worry about the right ammo. Over 600 rounds of all kinds and still flawless. I have heard the G3c can be picky but that may be quality control in the feed ramp area as there is a lower and upper feed ramp that should have little to no gap when the barrel is locked in.

I just watched you G3C video, and I thought I'd jus throw in my two cents. I also have the pistol, for maybe two years now, and I really like it. So much so, that it is with me mostly 90% of the time. I do have a couple of other pieces I trade out with from time to time. Mine is box stock other than a night sight, and a Talon grip. I, too, have never had a problem with the gun. I also have its older brother, the PT111 G2, which I've never had a problem with, either. The subtle changes made in the G3C, to me, make it an almost perfect pistol. Thanks for the review. Good job.

Mines is garbage an so are the magazines. After putting 300 rounds through it and polishing feed ramp and smoothing out tool marks on My Taurus G3c. Still have reliability issues, even after new magazines from Taurus! Can't recommend this pistol especially for EDC. Would take a Glock pistol any day of the week over Taurus because? 1- Glock has better quality control were Taurus is lacking in. 2- Glock hasn't had serious recalls like Taurus has 1997-2024, latest being some of their Taurus GX-4 pistols. If this was S&W or Glock they would be out of business! Taurus pistols might be cheaper but it comes at a cost and that is quality control and some of the materials used in their product.
