- On this adventure we headed up to Laurel Lakes to camp out on the lake, but do to snow, we only made it up about 3/4 of the trail and was force to turn around. We ended up camping on the Laurel Creek, which was awesome except for all the mosquitos.
I have never camped anywhere that the mosquitos where so bad. The only thing I could was to get into my Jeep for the night.

You guys take the best trips.
Great video Ron! Thanks for sharing.
I tried it in July 3 years ago and there was a truck stuck in a patch of snow on the first gravel switchback. They had been digging out for three days. Their friends were camped in the willows below them and shouted encouragement while slinging beers.
Wow what a scenery ! I have to plan to visit there too :-)
How did the full size ram do? I woulda thought it was to big for that trail! Great video man!
@14:08 I hope you have license using that Baofeng lol
took this trip years ago.......from all the videos on youtube it looks like too many people now know about it
Nice.
When was this trip exactly? I was thinking of going in the next couple of days. I figured the road would be free of snow, but after seeing this I’m questioning it haha. I went up last year in October and had a great couple nights up there
We did this in August 2023
Actually I think it was in September
@@OffRoadOverlandCamping that’s wild… such an insane winter
