Wanted to let you know. Something a lot of people glossed over was how the chariot changes affected black coaches. People should find them much killier now, which means they'll be getting their 40/80/120 kill effects a lot more quickly in general. I didn't see that get showcased today, so wanted to put that out there for the VC mains. It looked like a really small change, but it massively affected their power.

Tzeentch warshine is 100% bugged/unintended. Enticity posted a video showing how he literally can't spend his WoM faster than it recharges (plus infinite army abilities).

I like the idea of sacrificing some of your troops to the shrines to make them better, albeit the Tzeetch one is busted.
Bugs, website, and lobby issues aside, this new season is looking fun balance wise. Conquest seems like a nice middle ground between land battle and dom

On the Tzeentch warshrine issue:
0.2 reserves/s is a lot. That's double the base WoM generation (which is 0.1 WoM/s), so with just the shrine and nothing else, without any bugs, the current values would make reserve grow at the same rate that WoM is transferred to the pool, at 1/5s, or 12/minute, with +6WoM/m per unit currently alive.
It also is part of the aura, so it's applying the reserve/WoM generation to every friendly unit in range.
It also seems to be actually bugged somehow to give more WoM generation than it's supposed to per unit, since in the test you did with the cultist shrine + lord, that should have amounted to 0.34 WoM/s (which is ~1/3s, not 1/2s. It showing 1/2s may have just been a rounding issue), though it'd also generate 0.4 reserves/s, which means the reserves would be effectively infinite.
I've loved berserk's play style for so long and that one game has proved I'm right between his micro and the shrine that was absolutely brutal
The Tzeentch shrine is not bugged, its finally working as intended! 😉
The best part about the Tzeentch Shrine is that it actually does exactly what it says it does. Giving power recharge rate, additional powers reserves per second and spell mastery to every unit in its effect range.
So maybe I stack up 5 units around my shrine and get 1 power reserve per second that is instantly added to my pool? Totally fair and balanced 😁🤣

Idk if you notice this later on but you were saying you overcast the nurgle spells but you didnt since there's a new way to input it. Double click doesn't work anymore you have to hit the button

Chaos sacrificing units for a buff sounds legit!
If impact damage applies to attack animations (Jabberslythe-style), and not just charges, it should yield an appreciable benefit over time.
These are great to listen to as I clean the house. Like AM radio baseball back in the day.

@turin why is it it Dwarves ranged gets bump rushed so hard every game. Then other factions just get to shoot away without the same focus? Other factions have just as good ranged now.
Dwarves have terrible mobilty in overall, this makes them sort of bad at responding to these rushes and players will try to exploit that vulnerability
I don't think that Tzeentch Warshrines need banning, just deliberate friendly fire, getting the stacks the intended way is pretty risky for such a bulky unit.
Go take a look at Enticity's video, you'll change your mind. A Chaos Sorcerer Lord on a shrine + 2 blue horrors is 2500 golds. In exchange, you get infinite WoM at a rate so high that you can cast every spell and Tzeentch army ability on cooldown for the rest of the battle. It's not strong, it's broken.
@@nelyeth1 I did specify banning deliberate friendly fire, mate. If a Warshrine has to get the stacks the usual way then it's a whole riskier enterprise, which can be punished by every faction.
@@Khorothis Again, the interaction is bugged, it gives the power recharge and WoM reserves to every caster in range. The more casters you have, the faster you get WoM *and* the more often you can cast spells - friendly fire is the fastest way to trigger it, but it's going to be broken even beyond that.
Second, banning specific actions is pointless busywork. Just like the new Conquest mode was made to avoid needing a referee for the attack rule, it's much easier to ban a broken unit than to make rules over how you're allowed to use them.
@@nelyeth1 Dude, I'm pretty sure that banning the friendly fire exploit wouldn't need a referee for every single match, the same way banning units doesn't need it. As long as the Warshrines are getting their stacks as intended it'll be fine.

How is single player getting worse? ToD just gave us a bunch of really fun new factions to play, not to mention Franz & Gelt getting some great reworks. Whatever missteps CA have made, I don't think it has anything to do with the minimal attention they've been giving multiplayer.
