Aurora's costume signifies the White Raven which apparently escorts you to the afterlife

    👍😍😍
“Helvegen” is played several times in the Vikings series + other songs from Wardruna and Einar Selvik (vocalist and songwriter), Einar also has small acting roles in it👍
Helvegen (path to Hel) not Hell as many thinks
In Norse mythology, Hel is an underground realm of the dead where it was believed that most people ended up when they died. In Norse cosmology, north is the direction towards cold and death. It is therefore understandable that Hel is cold and intractable, and that the road there leads "north and down".
Hel is also the name of the ruler of the underworld. She is motherly and terrifying, and her skin is part blue-black like that of a corpse and part human-colored. She is very greedy and does not easily give up the dead who end up with her.
    “Helvegen” English lyrics
    Who will sing me
    Into the death-sleep sling me
When I walk the road to Hel
    And the tracks I tread
    Are cold, so cold
    I sought the songs
    I sent the songs
    When the deepest well
    Offered drops so mighty
    Of Valfather’s pledge
    I know it all, Odin
    Where you hid your eye
    Early or in fading day
Still the raven knows if I fall
When you stand by the gate of Hel
And when you must tear loose
    Follow you I shall
    Across the bridge of Gjöll
    With my song
You will be free from the bonds that bind you
You are free from the bonds that bound you
[Old Norse/Håvamål - The High Ones' Speech, Poetic Edda]
    Cattle die, kinsmen die
    You yourself will also die
But the word about you will never die
If you win a good reputation
    Cattle die, kinsmen die
    You yourself will also die
I know one thing that never dies
The reputation of those who died
They sing in Norwegian, except for the last part in Håvamål👍
Could you please react to Aurora with:
“Infections Of A Different Kind” live at the HAIK concert 😍

Yeah, this would've been magical to attend to.
So this is "Trænafestivalen" (the Festival of Træna) Traena is an island out of the coast of Norway, just below the Arctic Circle. I live around 10 hrs drive north of this (+ ferry out to Traena)
here's link to the web site for the festival. .... it's literally "far out" ;)
The venue - Kirkhellaren... will be translated to the Church- dome (hellaren, means a roof/cave/protective formation in stone)

@@overanalyzed 😀 oh, no.... the old ship, after doing some research, I found out it's Statsraad Lehmkuhl. The link gives an exellent picture of the boat and the surroundings of Traena.ruclips.net/video/bKdg6mVwrRU/видео.html
You can actually join on a trip from Bergen to Traena, looks like it's annual, and be part of the crew. 😉 Bucketlist, anyone?
The Ferries are fairly modern and takes cars and people. There are also a speed boad/ferry option, but it's a longer ride, depending on where you board.
The shortest distance to the island of Traena is 33 nautical miles from the mainland.

the underlying drone is from the bow instrument on the far right.

another tip for old-north music is the band 'heilung' with the song 'in maidjan'.

Ah, man this so beautiful! Thank you.
I wrote a long comment on the last Aurora video you did, but I thought it went a little too deep and got a little too personal, so I regretted it and deleted it. I don't know if you had the time to see it before I removed it, but I kinda hope so. She just moves me very deeply and I care so much about this exceptional human.
I hope you'll do more on her. She's just as incredible, if not more, as a human and person. Listening to her views on life and eveything else is such a breath of fresh air and for me invokes feelings of something, mystical and larger than life.
Maybe you could do a reaction/analysis of her talking? Haha, that sounds weird, but like, one thing she's done is she was interviewed by a psychologist for 1.5 hours, with her just explaining her philosophy on life and about the experiences that shaped her. Listening to her talk about those experiemces and what she got from them and how she processes everything is nothing short of inspirational.
So maybe do something like that? A longer one, maybe one of her documentaries. She's made a shorter one too, called "Nothing is Eternal" which is quite good and has some music in it too. It's maybe 15 minutes long. Other than that, she's done many interviews that are just wonderful to listen to and it would be great to hear your reactions to some of the things she says, in real time. I can help suggest some if you're interested.
    Thank you sir :)
