Thanks for watching our videos. We include all things to do with motorhomes, campervans, van conversions, caravans and the great outdoors. We mainly tour the UK and camp around 80 nights per year in our 2021 IH Motorhomes N-680 CRL luxury VW Crafter van conversion. We offer advice, tips and tricks, review campsites and associated products or services. We also occasionally make videos about other trips we take without the motorhome.

Love looking at the old cars most of which, (certainly from the 60’s onwards) I remember - when cars had some ‘character’ 🥴 and all looked different. I let go my 1958 Iris Blue Austin Healey Sprite MK1 (Frogeye) about three years ago, noddy! Didn’t get enough use out of it, so time to let her go and be enjoyed at her new home. Thanks for taking us around the museum x🚐
Loved the old frog eyed Sprite. Must have been an emotional decision to let it go. It was a lovely day out here and a nice cafe for tea and cake after looking round 😃 Trev
@@PoshcatsCamping Yes, very sad to see it go, but went to a good home and the chap who bought it said he was smiling all the way home… A happy car - kids in the village used to love it 😂
Hello Trev and Sue, love the car journey, lots of memories came flooding back, you got me getting a pen and paper out and trying to remember the cars I have had in the past, 👍👍.
It’s amazing just how many cars we have during our driving career and to wonder why we chose each of them 😃 Glad you enjoyed the look back in time 👍🏻 Trev
Hi Trev and Sue , what a place we didn't know that it was that big. There are some memories for everyone in their I guess, there certainly was for us. Best wishes Helen and Martin
It was a lovely walk down memory lane 😃 pity there isn’t a museum for old caravans and motorhomes 😉😂 Trev
Love the Austin’s. If I would ever win the lottery, I’d get me an Austin Healey convertible. I love a bunch of these cars in this museum! So many are so cute! 😍
A lot of the cars were buzzing around in my childhood. It was a real trip down memory lane. I loved it and wasn’t sure whether to put it in here as it’s not really camping related. 😊 Safe travels 👍🏻 Trev
So many cool cars! What a great museum. My husband would love this! 😊
It was a bigger car collection than we first thought. It was great to see the old cars of our lifetime. Seems strange to think that some of them are now in a museum 🤣 Thanks for watching 😃 Trev
Thanks for sharing this. Great to see so many cars that I’ve owned or driven over the years and not a German, French or Swedish car to be seen (which is all I’ve owned since 2006). Didn’t know about this place before your video and living in Spain now probably won’t get to see it for real. Thanks again 👍
Hi Rob, yes this is a British car museum so I felt a little guilty wearing my VW cap 🧢 🤣 Glad you enjoyed our little look around. Quite nostalgic remembering all the names and models 👍🏻😃 Trev
Trevor what did you do in the electricity industry. I worked for Eastern electricity and EDF energy and UKPN for 40 years as a hot glove engineer in King's Lynn and Peterborough. Keep the videos coming
Hi Paul, from 1985 I was in Contracting then went into Energy Marketing and finally IT Department working with the Energy Trading teams at HQ. I left in 2000 after the millennium bug projects finished and joined a software company delivering solutions to international energy companies. It was a good career but following illness in 2007, I took a local management roll in the NHS then Social Services. I retired at 58 in 2019. I haven’t looked back and love travelling with our motorhome. Long May it continue 😃👍🏻🚐 Thanks for your support with our channel, it helps us with a tank of fuel every month. 😃 Take care, Trev
@@PoshcatsCamping Cheers trevor. 2017 aged 59 when I started living the dream. Enjoy. What was the car meusum you visited couldn't catch it on the video
@@paulclarkson5494 Hi Paul, here is a link to their website greatbritishcarjourney.com/
Love the old cars. On our last trip there were 2 classic cars in the car park, might have to keep them in the video. Thanks for showing us around.
We had a great time. Even Sue enjoyed looking round the old cars. Take care guys ! Trev
Great vid trev since I was 17 I have owned over 455 cars vans and at least 40 off the models you shown there great to see them had a 2.8i capri a sierra 2.8i 4x4 Daimler sovereign 4.2 about 12 different minis 2.8 I ghia x granada mk2 Stephanie's dad had 4 garages in the 60s had 5 different etype jags as his personal cars really loved this vid all the best donny
Thanks Donny, you clearly have a true passion for cars and their history. Good on ya and I do feel slightly jealous that I missed out on some of my dreams 😉 Trev
Some stunning vehicles there. Thank you for the tour 😊💜xx
Thanks guys, glad you made it safely back to Blighty 😃 Hope the climate is not too much of a shock to your system 😉🚐
Really cool car museum. Lots of neat vehicles there. Thanks for the tour. Take care, my friends 😊💕
Thank you 🤗 we had a great time looking round the old cars. There was a cafe with coffee and cake afterwards that we forgot to film. We had to sample the carrot cake !! Trev
Well, I obviously watched there were a few mistakes that the place themselves made which annoy me…. Example the “Allegro” Vanden Plas for example was never badged Allegro and was just a VDP 1500 or 1750 I’ve not been even though it’s local… I believe there is another Allegro there (a green one) I really must go there.
I think you’d like it Rick. It has a great selection of vehicles but I was looking for the Austin Cambridge and Cortina Mk1 or Corsair and sadly I was disappointed 🙂 Despite there being a few gaps and errors, it’s a good place to look around. Loads of minis there if you like them 😊 Thanks for watching 👍🏻 Trev
@@PoshcatsCamping I’ll have to get, we actually passed it in Pearl last year on the way to a campsite in the area 😊
Hi Trev and Sue. Brilliant video.. Having passed mz driving test in 1968 it brought back many happy memories of that time. However it wasn't all good. I bought my first car in 1969, which was a 6 year old Sunbeam Alpine, and spent most of my time either patching up bodywork or constantly returning the engine etc. I sold it in 1972 for a £100 and still regret it to this day!
Haha yes we seem to love the older cars even though they gave us problems in the 1970s. I passed my test in 1979 and that’s when I got the Hillman Avenger. Glad you enjoyed the video David, it was a nice armchair walk down memory lane 😃 Trev
