@@readoutloudrol5755 it was Pokomo not pokot. Pokomo are Bantus from the Coast. And yes Kenyan National Anthem was borrowed from a Pokomo lullaby, and composed by Mzee Menza Galana. Pokot are from Western (Baringo)

Boygitz TV, We were NOT forced! We just sang it as a duty. We did it every Monday and Friday when we hoisted our flag. I loved it. I've never seen anyone being forced to sing it in all the schools I attended.

the South African sounds similar to Tanzanians ... and also some hymns. It lacks originality. Kenya has military taste and original.
