@@digitalhillzthat dumb Ik Sean was injuried in the camp or whatever but we all know what merab was gonna do and Tim during the fight week was saying we ready for him and his ground game and he said Sean ground game not to be mess with 😂 yee all I heard was excuses from the dude Tim 🤷🏽 (Sean not touching the belt again)
The belal vs leon was a gr8 example of double leg takedown improvisation. Kind of same story
I dunno who Tim Welch is. But there are loads of excuses. And not in the bad way. Give the guy a break. His character crumbled in a big moment. Don't hate Sean, love him into becoming a strong character with a piston left hand :)
Casual 😂
Didn't have one when he throwing high kicks and knees. I've had the same injury and I couldn't have tried to do none of that. That's a week excuse. Sean is a beast. But Umar would beat him on the ground and has hands. So either way. He ain't getting past those 2.
The comments I’ve read are a bit harsh. He could’ve been way more defensive. Sure, he did throw in an excuse or two, but 72 hours after a loss, I think he was very respectful.
Casual 😂
When the strategy of distracting a fighter doesn't work anymore Season 2 episode 4
I think Merab should treat the idea of a rematch with Sean, as the same as Sean treated the idea of a rematch with Aljo
totally unbiased interview👍🏼
Coach Canelo and Sean need to find a better game plan, I hope Sean comes back stronger and be deadly as he used to be in other fights but Merab being the champ now will be much stronger and smarter too if there is a rematch ever.
zero excuses zero coaching
I swear Sean said he injured his shoulder labrum in Merab fight.
don't get it twisted 47-48 was the best gift judges could've given to Sean. He got dominated
luckily Merab made it so dominant that they couldn't do what they did in the Sean-Petr Yan fight. If the fight had been a bit closer they might have done it again. Kind of like the Paddy-Jared Gordon fight. Also Herb Dean telling them to work while Merab had Sean on the floor and was throwing knees... smh
Sugar foot Sean o'crappy got schooled
{That was the most "Not like Sean" i have ever seen) O'Malley didn't move, feint, shimmy. He didn't throw out those shots that build up and create openings} Props to Merab he won. I just feel he did a whole lot of running around, burning up the clock, not engaging. Merab shot way less takedowns than normal. Again Merab definitely won. He didn't win by HURTING Sean tho. I'm just ready to see how things go from here because there is so much talent in the Bantamweight division. (And i truly think that when Sean is Sean and does what he always does, I believe Sean is capable of pulling off amazing athletic achievements in the UFC world)
*(BTW it has tripped me out with just how insane some people have gone with trashing Tim due to this "Merab & Aljo sportsmanship nonsense" it's so blown out of proportion. I wish certain fans could balance out their schizo toxicity but oh well. The internet will always be Schizo I've learned to embrace it)
Now say that without crying.
I agree
Say less. Literally.
@@benmcreynolds8581 it’s called cutting off the cage, defending takedowns, scrambling to get back to your feet, ju jitsu, and not letting another man hold you down… but Sean doesn’t know how to do any of those things
@@loopvil369nobody’s crying expect you pal.
We can clearly see that he was pissed and frustrated in this interview 😑
Merab vs Figgy is much better move for Merab bc if he beats Figgy that's 5 ex UFC Champions in a row P4P great discussion stuff
" don't worry sug it's almost over"😂😂😂😂😂
Why the coach let his athlete compete injured.
Just the narrative the using. Sean still gets ragdolled either way
Everyone in the UFC has fought injured
@@isaiahbastian2749 everybody on steroids
Cuz it's the Sphere headline with custom stuff designed for him, the opportunity was too big to pass up
@@BRAINFxck10 same thing happens 10 out of 10 times
Tim Welch was coaching Sean like he was in labor, "breathe for me now, good, you’re doing great" 🤡 Sean needs a new corner.
Managing Sean’s cardio between rounds, which held up actually and he even won the 5th against a cardio monster, so yeah pretty wise
2024 coach of the year? If I could choose a coach, I’d choose this guy
O'Malley turning into wonder boy... Great striker with no grappling defense
International fight week (April) he should come back. Over a year off is a terrible idea, look at Izzy
Literally every fighter says no excuses, but makes excuses.
Casuals are surprised
These guy and his teams are clown - no excuses and makes bunch of excuses
Alex Poatan - if you run from him, he goes after you and knock you out- why didn’t your guy do that if you claim Merab was running
The judges who gave Sean 2 rounds were obviously bias - Sean was dominated all rounds
Sean even had a cheap shot and stil couldn’t finish Merab - hitting Merab when he was walking to him corner 😂 😂
Biggest threat to Sean : Umar, Merab, Henry
Why was this interview so awkward? Brett came across like it was a funeral but in reality Tim was pretty relaxed.
Dana definitely sent Brett to ask the stupidest questions.
Merab Dvalishvili Signed UFC by TKO if you think hes boring no hes still Green and still getting better
Every fighter has injuries going into fights but it only matters when a “star” has them going into a fight that he loses 🤒
Surgery scheduled 8 weeks ago makes me wonder that the UFC did know about it despite what Dana said in the post fight DWCS presser
' I was injured '
' I won that fight '
' the sphere distracted me '
' merab cheated '
' judges were corrupt '
'no excuses '
I agree with 'judges were corrupt'. Merab dominance was so evident that they couldn't make Sean win, but still, 48-47 by two judges??? That's a disgrace.
It’s the unhumbling humble approach! 🥴
Atleast Time Welch keeps it 💯 . And doesn't try to blame it on this and that.
oh no, he didn't make any excuse, not at all. I mean, he had this injury and that, but no, no, no excuses. And also blalblabla but no excuses, no...
It would have lost UFC a ton of money if they told anyone. I could tell Suga was a bit "too chill" this time around.
too much weed probably
