I WHOLEHEARTEDLY AGREE that Stacey Dash's presence/absence from the show makes me not want to watch the 2nd season this time around on 5-17-24. I had FORGOTTEN that the producers/directors of the show had FIRED her because of her BAD/ELITIST ATTITUDE!! She just got into it with Lisa Raye McCoy because of her attitude and none willingness to do/participate in a scene!! McCoy was not the REASON!! It's TOO BAD that she wasn't willing to COOPERATE with DIRECTION from the producers/directors, because in my HONEST OPINION, Stacey's part STUCK out MORE with me than the other two women!!! And I guess the reason behind this notion is that IT was her apartment that ALL 3 women lived at and IT was her boutique that a lot of the scenes were SHOT!!! So in my opinion, Stacey's character was THE MOST ICONIC/IMPORTANT of ALL of the 3 ladies in season one!!

when folks act a fool on set at a show or a movie. word gets around & their carrer dries up. stacey dash, lindsay lohan etc.... producers & directors CAN'T waste time & money on one person ruining a project.
Here is what's so hilarious about that show. Val, Stacy dashes character, is playing in a role where her boyfriend has been married and divorced 3 times and has 4 kids. Because he won't do any of that again with her, she makes that a deal breaker in the relationship. When Girl, you know your ass and Lisaraye are both top damned old to have any kids. Both Stacy dashe and Lisaraye are near 60 years old! They just look good. The only one truly young enough to have kids in the show is the white girl playing along side them.
First season of single ladies was EVERYTHING !!! Entire cast had perfect onscreen chemistry.
