Nunca se le comprobó nada a Plácido Domingo. A muchos se les hace muy fácil criticar, pero no se puede hablar sin pruebas. La sola palabra no basta siempre, aunque sí nos permite estar en alerta.
In un concerto come questo gala con la presenza di tanti artisti di primo piano, è brutto fare i complimenti a singoli cantanti perché sono tutti bravi senza se e senza ma. Anzi, un saluto alla memoria della bella e brava Daniela Dessì che improvvisamente nel 2016 lasciò attonito tutto il mondo dell'opera lirica per la sua repentina dipartita.Riposi in pace.
Un grande grazie a chi ha postato questo video. Mi ha fatto gustare la musica d'opera che imparai ad amare da bambino e che coltivai per un certo tempo frequentando il teatro San Carlo. Ora, per colpa di certi cosiddetti sovraintendenti dei teatri d'accordo con certi registi che vorrebbero far rivivere l'opera a proprio uso ma in realtà realizzano delle regìe demenziali per cui non la seguo più. Quando faccio qualche tentativo, finisco sempre per incazzarmi perché l'opera lirica è bersagliata da personaggi ritenuti degli osannati registi, ma che, in realtà, con le loro stravaganze, dimostrano solamente di essere degli autentici incompetenti.

È chiaro che nel 2001 Carreras non era quello di trent'anni prima; però, che grande artista! Basti sentire le prime frasi dello splendido terzetto della Jerusalem (10:58): che perfezione di colore, dizione, fraseggio, musicalità, timbro e sentimento! Grande, grande e sempre grande Carreras! 💚

Zashorigin I dont agree. I cannot evaluate Curas italian reading, but I find his voice much more interesting and my taste than the other tenors. I also love Placido, but his Otello here I find quite boring in Comparison to the Otello which Cura usually sings. So different is taste.;-)
