Don't know how long you've been doing this Tommy, we're all learning as we go, RELAX Bro!! Your narrating comes accroos like an accountant explaining end of year financials!!
I’ve watched many of your videos and feel they’re some of the more enjoyable. It’s about seeing beautiful yachts I could never afford. I’m in the 50’ range and have been for about 30 years. Keep up the great work.
I'm surprised some people couldn't watch because of the camera speed, total rubbish Your speed is great and of course you have to work around the crew and other people viewing the yacht. Keep up the great work Tony
Every inch of this yacht is WOW factor. So much better than the heartless cold and sterile interiors of way more expensive boats. The guests superbly taken care of, and the crew as well. Very nice. (and yeah, that super cabin next to the bridge is the captains cabin)
I’m from the Richmond BC area, a suburb of Vancouver. I watched these yachts being built. Unfortunately the boatyard, Sovereign Yachts, moved to Australia 15 years ago, then disbanded. Vancouver used to have 5-8% of the global yacht building market in the 70-80’s then almost everything moved to China. Richmond Yachts was given that name by Don Davis, in the 2000’s, after a number of yachts were abandoned mid build when the builder moved. The yacht owner, Don, took over the yard and finished his yacht and several others, then shut down the yard. Sad the yard is gone, Don Davis did a great job revamping and finishing the yachts.
Awesome yacht and the tour guide kept the video on the important things not himself like that one other guy does. That is impressive. Again impressive yacht and videoing.
Thank you Tony for this nice show of this Tri-Decker the Richmond 138 a beautiful boat with spacious accomodations a very nice sky lounge and nice sun deck Thank you Tony a great show again
That's not just a ship,it's a mobile Mansion! The crew does an excellent job of keeping it like new.I'd like to congratulate the persons who designed and outfitted it too.(I'd move the painting of a shipwreck away from the main entrance though.Who wants that thought as you enter before a cruise?I chuckled when I saw it)
It really feels like it. The crew was extremely professional and I could tell by talking to them that they take great pride in their work. Lol you could definitely swap out any artwork if you wanted to!
Very nice yacht Tony, They have done a great job of the re-fit the wood work gives the yacht that top finish, you are doing an excellent job, thank you for another out standing video,

OMG Tony this yacht is almost perfect to my liking! The only complaint I have is I would've liked to see a captains cabin although the vip could be but a bit overkill
I know its a twenty year old boat and the asking price is $8.5m more than I can afford but that feels like a very reasonable price for a boat of this size. The refit is only four years old and it was clearly done to an exceptionaly high standard and overall the boat feels spacious and modern for a vessel built in 2004.
Thanks for the tour Tony. This a brand of yacht I wasn't familiar with. It's obvious that it has been well maintained over the years (even though it had a refit in '18). It's definitely a nice yacht & very spacious. I wouldn't turn down the opportunity to own it even though I prefer some of the newer superyachts. BTW, I started watching your channel on April 10, 2021 & at the time you had 223 subs so congrats on the growth of your channel. I bet you'll be at 100K+ subs before you know it.
I am getting dizzy because your video flies from one area to another at amazing speeds. What is the rush? Slow down when using the camera so it doesn't look like you are showing this before you get caught.
This yacht is SSSOOOOO much nicer than the yachts that are worth $100,000,000.00 million. Better tast and style. With the right crew, a much better choice for charter. A home away from home out on the ocean.
I've seen boats on here that cost 6 times more that only have a bathtub in the owner suite even when there's clearly room in for them, I require one do to balance issues and being on a boat would probably make it worse so it's nice that they made that choice.
Whoever did the refit on this yacht did a spectacular job! She doesn't look like an almost twenty year old yacht at all. If you didn't say she was built in 2004 I would have assumed she was brand new! This is my favorite yacht you have showed us so far so liked and subscribed I did!
What you call the VIP cabin IS ACTUALLY the Captains Cabin as they are always near the bridge for quick access in case of emergencies. Captains always get a nicer cabin compared to the usual crew members. Most S/Y are made this way. No VIP member would be stationed closer to bridge than a captain. The legalities surrounding this so called VIP cabin is placing the owner, crew, workers, environment at greater risk. The Oath made by Captains in getting their S/Y Captaincy license promises to keep safe those 3 area's to the best of their abilities. 1) of person's, 2) the environment and 3) the vessel. This oath would require that a captain remains close to bridge in the wake of an emergency. Who ever said that it was a VIP cabin to you, was momentarily not thinking lol .. Nice captains cabin though :)
It is common to see a captains cabin right behind the bridge but that's not the case on this one (although it could be used as a one if the owner wanted to utilize it that way). There is a crew cabin with a double bed that the captain uses right off the crew mess. Before filming I toured the yacht with the chief stew and she said it's the VIP cabin. Thanks for watching!
@@YachtAddiction Wow I want to say 'how different!' or 'Not a fan of that set up' As I have never seen a S/Y set up like that (Captain cabin with crew cabins) and I've seen a lot. But I really can't. The chief stew I believe is just trying to boost sale price of vessel by describing that room as a VIP stateroom, but it's the captains cabin. You state in the video at the beginning that guest numbers are 12 and crew up to 8. That double bed you mention has a single above it as you see a snippet of it after laundry viewing. No captain would be placed with crew in a little cabin like that. Hypothetically, even trying to make plausible what chief stew states would only leave 2 cabins for 3-4 crew (making up to 8) does not make sense. It's a captains cabin... no question about it. Anyway that's my belief. Lovely boat and good video apart from that 'misinformation' lol (No fault of yours though - love your videos and viewings) ... Have a good day!
I'm not trying to argue with you as I agree that the majority of the time the cabin behind the bridge would be for the Captain. But this one has a unique layout in that regard and the room off of the mess is designated as a captains cabin. They may have to share the room with another crew member which isn't the norm but not completely unheard of. There are 4 guest rooms on the lower deck, the master on the main deck, and the VIP on the bridge deck. With 2 people to a room that equals the 12 guests. For crew, there are 2 forward bunk rooms that sleep 4, another bunk room that sleeps 2 off the lazarette (captured at the end of the video), and then the captains cabin totaling up to 8 crew. The last thing I will say on the matter is in the brokers description they call out the VIP cabin being up on the bridge deck, and also in the listing photos you can see a picture of the layout of the decks in the original build configuration. On the diagram you can see the Captains cabin and VIP cabin labeled in their respective places. Thanks again for watching and I hope to see you in the comment section in future videos!!
@@YachtAddiction All good! If that is truly the original design, I would never want that person to design for me. I have never seen a captains quarters where they share with other crew. I have never seen one without a desk either come to think of it. Nor have I seen one on a different level as the bridge and at a distance from the bridge. I too am definitely not trying to argue as I love your videos but I truly believe it's a captains cabin. You can call a spade a shovel and have it in writing but at the end of the day, It's a spade! If that design is really done with captains quarters sharing with crew.. personally I would think it's the worst design ever and would steer clear. My opinion only.. Anyway, still love you and your videos.. (After thought - not hard to produce later on a so called 'original' layout showing VIP room. I still think it's a sales pitch for a bigger price.. Take care! Look forward to more videos :)
Great tour. Very tastefully appointed. BTW - It's V-12 _not_ 12-V. In engine nomenclature the configuration is always mentioned _before_ the number of cylinders (Flat-12, V-6, Boxer-4, etc).

That is one special kind of boat, one of my favourite.
I didn't see a Captains quarters, that might be what the "VIP" room is meant to be considering its proximity to the bridge.
For 8.5 million dollars this is an asolute steal.
Extremely beautiful boat. The woodwork everywhere is stunning,

Never heard of this brand before, thanks for showing her to us. It's nice to see different types of boats
I haven’t either until seeing and researching this one. They’re lesser known than some major brands but still a quality boat.
I’m from the Richmond BC area, a suburb of Vancouver. I watched these yachts being built. Unfortunately the boatyard, Sovereign Yachts, moved to Australia 15 years ago, then disbanded.
