How much weighted hook it takes before it sinks ? And what size ?

Hey @ananthmurphy8603, we generally fish them on a 2/0 TT ChinlockZ jighead which is unweighted apart from the chin lock keeper. We predominantly fish them on a constant 'buzzing' retrieve, so you can rig them on a 1/12oz 2/0 TT ChinlockZ SWS jighead for increased casting distance, but will need to keep the rod tip up and and speed up to buzz the surface. You can check out these jigheads at tackletactics.com.au/TT-Fishing/Jigheads. All the best with the fishing. Cheers, Justin

@@tackletacticstv7687 Thankyou so much 🙏🏿 I asked because we use normal hollow bodied frog on completely weed and Lilly pad coverd lakes and for Snakehead fish recently the anglers using zman frogs and Billy goat getting good results but they are fishing in rivers they don't need the casting distance but I fish in lake with dam every week the water level reduces and the bank is very soft can't able to walk in that keeping stuck in mud so the casting distance is very important and floating or topwater bait is very important

@@UnstoppableAngler Glad we could help. Snakehead are such a cool fish... we may just be a little bit jealous ;) Hope you get stuck into a few soon. Cheers, Justin

Do you use 20/40 lb mono or fluorocarbon ?

Hey @davidraguse2106, hope all's well and you're finding a fish. Mono is generally preferred for fishing topwater as it doesn't have the sink / drag of fluorocarbon leaders. Jeff runs Platypus Hard Armour mono leaders. All the best with the fishing. Cheers, Justin
