I found unlocking and hard reset to be a major pain in the ... . Because phone carriers and others when switching over basically have no responsibility and can't do anything. When I would ask the new service how to do anything, their reps were all dumber than rocks and would hang up or time out the chats because they either didn't know English or didn't know how to do it themselves. Companies are so shady right now.
