There is some mental disfunction, lack of communication. I've been there with my brother. I think their wedding made them look bad. There was no intimacy. The d. J, empty space, decor...... sometimes that's too much. People want to feel appreciated at your wedding not just having an obligation to go. As sisters we love, love, love our brothers, we are always (usually) supporters. We think we know them better than anyone and then the get in a relationship leaving Sister and sometimes mom behind. All their time spend is with the gf. Understandable. In the worst times, emotional times pain hits us instead of happiness. I was born a caregiver, I am always protective of my family. I think in that moment he treated her like a Stanger and she was super uncomfortable. She should have been more included. I think the whole atmosphere was strange. They looked like 3 married couple having the time of their life's and people around there not wanting to be there. These people have closed themselves away from the world. They have ended relationships. They had no supporters because they don't trust to let people in. Having the cams in your face to prove you know your shit but you just exposed yourselves regarding underlining unresolved issue(s). They keep telling themselves they're fine but no one is believen. People feel disconnected from them.

Dimitri was a serial cheater before getting his wife on board with the polyamory concept. For me, it feels like he embraced polyamory inauthentically. It is hard to reconcile the notion that perhaps this is just an allowable way to cheat. I always look at the fruits of someone’s labor. Is it good? The original wife looks miserable. There’s no way it can’t hurt emotionally to see your man with someone else-even if you figure out coping mechanisms to get past it.
Women are encouraged to have only one partner and if they have multiple ones they are called whores which is why women stay in situations like this instead of simply finding someone better.
