"so I'd just come off the stage on my final performance of Catch Me if You Can, and I'd got this Facebook message from some guy called Stephen Flaherty?"
@@TheGrahamHam you can’t tell me that wasn’t literally the most strained note I’ve ever heard. He only kind of saved it because he flipped into falsetto at the last moment. Also, I only say that he might be a baritone because his tone is that of a lower voice, not a tenor. Of course, he still hits high As pretty regularly. He HAS sung this song better before (even like 6 years prior to this video), BUT this one was not it. LASTLY, we all know how he sounds in Moulin Rogue. LOVE THE MAN, but he struggles in songs like Roxanne especially when compared to past Christians like Aaron.
@@gabrielcruz1764 Is that relevant? I mean for full disclosure I am a singer with over a decade of training but why does that even matter? If the note was bad, it was bad. Regardless of whether the listener is also a vocalist or not.
@@elizabethaso1277this his worse one. but there r mutiple sources of media showing him hitting this amazing. Idk how the rest of the song is meh when ik you couldn’t hold a candle to what he’s doing
now i want aaron tveit to sing "my petersburg"

I mean, he did sing that at some point. Aaron did the reading for Dmitry for Anastasia before Derek was cast.
Now…finding a recording of that? Lol
Here is Aaron singing “In a Crowd of Thousands”, though.

Bless you very sweet soul for recording this!
I really love Derek's take of this!
Wow!
Of course Derek went to UCLA, he's basically a good Warner😂
That last note was perfection.
DEF lol really?
Ethan Tampus 😀 Glad to see my sarcasm shine through 💫
Ehh, he’s a baritone lolol
@@phoenixhuntsberry he is NOT a baritone, the note was fine. GOOD? With some work.
