- This Standard Annie & Gwen deck is all about doubling your attack abilities. Double Gwen for extra snips and healing, double Eternal Dancers for an extra unit, double Annie to set the world on fire. It all comes down to Headmistress Telsi and Ravenborn Tome to create insane combos if the Hallowed gameplan isn't quite enough to get you across the finish line.

The Ravenborne Tome confusion got me wondering, so I checked to see if there were any situations where Tome works where Telsi doesn't. There are basically only 6 cards in the game that have Skills that aren't Attack or Play effects: Manasoul Student, Crackshot Corsair, Miss Fortune, Lvl 2 Twisted Fate, Lvl 2 Lee Sin, and Lvl 3 Renekton.

Oh, I suppose it COULD interact with Daybreak, Nightfall and Plunder effects through things like Herald and Demolisher, actually. Requires set-up, but that IS significantly more cards in Tome's favor.

I was waiting for this deck. I knew Telsi and the tome plus either Gwen or Kai'sa would be extremely good.

The changes to the version i was running for quite some time are what i needed. I was running almost the same things with some minor changes but the difference feels huge :D

was running this with riven instead at the start of the expansion, always felt it needed the extra oomph if you missed curve and this might have been it. good stuff

Been playing a Taliyah Telsi deck and it’s a lot of fun. Telsi + tome + Taliya will put 9 skills on the stack and the opponent can’t respond with deny or avenging vastaya which feels great.
My first time playing I got two Headmis down with Gwen and grey back. Fun deck

When I first played the deck when the expansion dropped, Telsi wasn't doubling the Eternal Dancers' skill or even the Redeemed Prodigy's skill. There were also multiple other instances where the effect was not triggering, which cost me quite a few games. I ended up dropping the deck ._.
Glad to see that the combos actually work
I love this deck played it before headmaster was added, she was replaced by soul cleave and Raven Conservatory. Make Gwen snip for 3+ damage per 2 attack and duplicate the snip with tome.

Actually, I aimed for the powder keg & elemental spell removal combo. It was legit tho, when you got a few powder kegs & summon volibear.
mono shurima *Was* popular but it was like 40% wr. I climbed to Diamond with just it.

I should have known the tome would work on skill, not attack, I made a deck around it and MF.
I still didn't see it comming.
Gwen annie without the school landmark feels like a missed opportunity tbh. Gwen lvled does extra dmg with each tick of her ability and such :). But I guess it got nerfed too hard to be playable.
please can you try to make a kayn deck? I really enjoyed it pre-vaulting, and haven't seen anyone play him in aaages
14:30 sure it matters, it was a wrong attack with wrong order, the follower (2 skills) then gwen (2 skills) that levels annie and annie use her levelt skill 4 times is way more dmg
Remember : Tybaulk doubles Gwen lv 2's skill damage as well

Bug at 20:34? Gwen snips twice for 4 and strikes for 6 but is only at 8/10 for the level up?
20:34 How come Gwen isn't leveled here? 2+2 from 2 snips and 6 regular damage
I think this is a bug, it didn't count the second skill that was created by the Ravenbloom tome
It's because the level up text saying "I've dealt 10 dmg" not "Allied gwens did 10 dmg" and the damages were 2 gwens combined
it's a weapon skill not her own skill lol

Why do some skills stay on the stack and others don’t when a unit that put those skills on the stack dies?
I think it depends on whether the skill says "unit deals damage" vs just "deal damage". In the first case the unit has to be alive, so if not the skill fizzles.
I feel like if anything, the new burn cards in PnZ are OP entirely because they haven't lost anything to have it yet. The fact that they can run mystic shot as well as the new ones feels really bad to play into. I hope mystic shot gets rotated because of these cards, and in fact I think that's the idea
