    I especially enjoy routes through complicated interlocking. Very nice, thanks.

    Not sure if you've ever mentioned it in any of your Piccadilly videos but the opening off to the left at 2:36 was the entrance to the derelict Mayfield station.
    Never saw the station in use but remember travelling to Salford Central in the early 90s and seeing the large conveyor bridge that ran overhead from the old Parcelforce depot on the right (now the Network Rail offices) to Mayfield station. Left over from the days when trains were used for parcel freight.

      They took it down soon after I started on the railway which was 2003. They are supposed to be redeveloping it. Lets hope so!

      @@doncoffey5820 There is a great video about Mayfield Station (including some fantastic drone footage) ruclips.net/video/_YInaz8n9IU/видео.html, made by one of my other favourite RUclipsrs at the moment, Martin Zero. Worth checking out if you like railway history.

    Didn't realise MP 313 controlled exit to Ardwick shed

    • @doncoffey5820
      @doncoffey5820  5 лет назад +1

      It doesn’t. MP 317 does but then you have to pass MP 313 to get out into the throat.
