@bohardw1884 Cheers! By day 100, I could barely grip anything. Haha, was an experience 😅

I don't think it's the best approach to do that many pull-ups. I did 1000 once and it wasn't good. I now do between 100-150 per workout, maybe sometimes a bit more, mostly on rings and the first 5-7 sets weighted.
    Good luck with that.

@cipriannemet519 oh this wasn't done as a form of progression it was done to raise money for charity.
Would never recommend anyone to do this by the end of the 100 days I actually lost muscle mass and not great for hormone function due to the amount of constant stress on the body.
But all done back to normal feel healthier than ever haha was an experience tho 😅

@@sustainablecoaching Oh, I didn't know that. If it was for a charitiy, than it's justifiable.
I think that at some point the nervous system will simply say no to this madness. I'm not saying it's not possible, but one is pushing way over the red line, no matter how fit one is. In any case it is assumed that the 1000 pull ups will extend over much longer periods of time in many sessions. From a health point of view it is clearly a mistake.
I don't mean to offend you, personally I seriously doubt that you did this without rest days in between. It would have been better to do a Google search for the current day, showing it at the beginning of each video, and letting the video run without the increased speed, but at normal speed, and without any editing.

@cipriannemet519 no worries not offended it was a crazy challenge.
Back in 2020 I uploaded the videos day by day to my Facebook as proof. With all upload dates.
You'd be surprised how far you can keep going a lot of prep and training went into it.
And alot of time went Into recover each day.
I just moved them over to RUclips to store them somewhere.

@ How long did it took the longest session, like the longest "1000" in a day? I imagine that you did at some point sets of only 2 or 3 reps.
How many pull ups can you do now fully recovered in a row?

@cipriannemet519 Yeah, so I would set a timer. Do 3 reps as fast as possible, then rest until the time hit 30 seconds, then another 3, then rest until the next 30 seconds and just repeat
Took 2 hours 48 mins, but I think day 13ish. I really messed my shoulder up and went down to 2 reps which took close to 4 hours for a couple of days
On the odd occasion I'd do 4 every 30 seconds which was about 2 hours 10.
I was originally going to do 24 hours but decided to do the 100 days as I thought I could raise a but more money that way.
Was a good challenge as soon as it was over I was so excited to just spend a month working on mobility training, haha
In a row now tbh I'm not 100% sure i mainly train more like a bodybuilder so slow controlled reps but maybe 15 to 20 reps max if I don't go too slow on the eccentric (lowering phase)
I think I was about 77kg when I done that pullup challenge, but around 85kg now, so a bit more weight yo pull at the moment 🤣
