I think that Square Enix is going to make FF7 for the PS4 after they're done with 15, Kingdom Hearts 3, and FFX/FFX-2. They know that their success is built on their fan base and that FF7 for the PS4 would bring life not only to the console, but to the Final Fantasy community.

I i feel in love with these characters, specially the love story between tidus n yuna. also the scenes in luca where yuna makes serious tidas to laugh n tidus taught her how to whistle,
FFX-2 is a game I feel like would have stood up well on its own, it was very fun the battle system was amazing, and the story, while simple, was still a fun experience. Had it been anything but a direct sequel to the best Final Fantasy ever, it would have been taken a lot better.

Where did you find this? I've read some where that SE is only releasing ffx/x-2 and ff13-3 this fiscal year, which ends around march 2014. So I always assumed late 2014 to late 2014.
if they did that then people wouldnt get special stuff from the previous 2 games which r on ps3. and they're bringing out all 3 games in one special set, I'm not sure if that's only being released in japan.
i really think that they should make a prequel.. crisis core was good..i really want to know when FFX is coming out it makes me mad that they dont give us a date but they have one for LR:FF13

FFX-2 made yuna and all the other girls look whorish. totally out of yunas character in FFX. and rikku is 16 >_> wth!!! we dont want an all guy team game. lets make an all girl one instead

The reason why they didn´t do a prequel is just plain dumb, it even borders on sexist, I mean, you can do an all girl game but not an all guys game??
