@Churpie hey quick question. The ability I struggle the most with using correctly is Pistol Shot. It procs all the time and I’m never sure when I should use it because there are other priority abilities. Should I ignore the procs if I have an ambush available and use it only when I need another ambush proc?

RN im 39-40% Crit, 2% haste and 72% mastery and I'm doing about 95k (single target 4 piece talent build) with 436 item level. I know I could be doing way more and I've read a bunch of guides and been in the rogue discord. Can't seem to figure out what I am missing. never have an issue in keys, overall about 110k-120k per run with 85-95k on bosses. Any advice? Started to learn outlaw for fun and this vid was exactly what i needed. Thanks PS- no aoe rotation?
yeah, ill be doing a vido like this for sub at some point. this guide was strictly for ST for outlaw, as shown on the thumbnail as 8/9 bosses are ST focused. next video with be outlaw m+/aoe guide, then later the sub guides

I have a few questions if you don't mind: 1) If running GS+Spree, is the restless blade cd reduction enough to just maintain GS forever? If not, do you plan around it's usage at all (such as saving for vanish/dance)? 2) Haven't played DB yet but I imagine you're generating so many CPs as is with HO build that the extra CPs are not as impactful as having a KS for dry spells and energy regen (if you weren't running tea) and that's the reasoning to take KS over DB? 3) Do you feel like Rush+Spree is too much "dead time recovery" to take over GS+Spree? I could see dry spells not lasting long enough or occurring frequently enough that one is on cooldown while you need another. Just thinking in terms of having something else (GS) to maintain as a newish player to the spec could be easy to overlook.
1: if u get super lucky rolls, you could have gs up forever, but it will more than likely fall off at some point. your goal is to try to keep it up as much as possible though. 2:when playing HO, KS is just a better filler for dry spells. u dont need db to generate cp 3:on single target, the 10% bonus dam from gs is worth much more than extra energy regen from rush. you would pretty much use spree in place of when you would use rush - you regen your energy while in spree, so you have limited downtime if any
Question for you - I noticed you had the 1800 rating pvp transmog for season 1, do you typically reach 1800 for the mog, and if so, do you do that on outlaw?

There are some builds that people run shadowstep in. - its pretty flexible and can be made to work. And i will do a subtlety video at some point in the near future. Maybe in the next week or 2 depending on how life goes
people take it with the KiR build, but the KiR build is too clunky to play imo. It's not really reachable with other builds without taking a dps loss on the way there

Well, on the bright side, youll do really well in m+. Also having 2 447 weaps isnt actually bad lol I would craft 447 boots next spark and if u have an old crafted bracer or belt i would recraft it at 421 with a toxic patch on it so u get the value from the boots

Why not use shadowflame patch and maybe even shadowflame on weapons plus flaring cowl instead? This way 4 different ways to proc ring could make it proc very often?
It doesnt work like that. Theres an internal cd on how often the ring can proc. Just forgestorm is enough to make it proc on cd. You also dont want the shadow patch cuz u need the toxic patch for slime boots. Cant use cowl cuz your 2 embellishments are slime boots and a toxic patch. The shadowflame enchant is decent if you dont have forgestorm, but if you have it, sophic dev is better
Curious should I wait a few seconds between attacks to make sure my energy recovers because I find myself running out of energy so dang quick, I am a returning player and trying to learn how to play a Outlaw Rogue good enough to run Mythic Dungeons and Raids.
When I try to slice n dice in the opener, most of the time it says a stronger effect is already active. Do you know why this is happening? Thanks so much
Yeah if you already have higher SnD time running, you cant press snd to increase it. So i would assume u roll the grand melee buff on ur opener and then try to send a low cp SnD, but since u already gained some snd uptime it wont let u click it
yeah, but even so, its still worth using over most other trinkets. beacon of course is bis, but the class trinket is a solid contender for the 2nd trinket slot as well so you don't play 2x on use

yeah i typically always push to 1800 for the mog set each tier. and yeah, i do it as any of the specs to be honest.

If you dont have the weaps, youd still use a main hand+ dagger offhand.

ill sometimes pool energy for 1-1.15 seconds before vanish/shadow dance, but its very situational. otherwise, no, not really. more buttons=more damage

Most likely just for the proc, yes. I would sim it to make sure, but as far as i know, the hc and mythic versions are both strong enough

no, it isnt possible. the only tier slot with crit vers is gloves
but yeah, you should prio crit vers gear on every slot you can

Nope - i play 2x on use so macroing it to an ability could potentially block me from using my other on use when i would want to
