@@demoncloud6147 or just put Raiden for national team, while Kuki can demolished another chamber's spiral abyss Boring to see Raiden only do her E in hyperbloom
That's funny because that's exactly what I've been thinking about. The bonus of >50% HP is not particularly high, but it ensures that Kuki is not bulky despite HP scaling, you never get the HoD bonus, which is why you have to resort to EM weapons or the Jadecutter. Is probably the penalty to be a 4 *. But other than that, Kuki is really good and I've been using her almost every day since its release
Also just keep in mind that what ever the main stat is on an artifact, it can't appear as a substat on that artifact (an em sands can't have an em sub stat) so for triple em kuki, you'll only be looking for em substats on her feather and flower
I had a ton of fun with Kuki when she was first released because the AoE electro application was just so convenient: Klee/Kazuha/Xinyan/Kuki may seem like a weird group, but between Kazuha's ability to clump Klee bombs and overloaded enemies, the constant overwhelming pyro from Xinyan's burst/Klee, Klee's own ridiculous ability to break enemy poise, and Kuki's quick healing/AoE reactions it did pretty well in abyss. Even Xinyan's terrible shield was enough to cover for a couple of Klee mistakes (lol) to avoid breaking flow. Then 3.0 came along and Kuki is just shining even brighter than before in way more teams and configurations. I think that the new 4*s in general can be underwhelming power-wise, but if nothing else I enjoy the creativity I find myself engaging in when it comes to making them work.
i use double dendro for kuki hyperbloom (collei with instructors and DMC with deepwood), and xingqiu for hydro. works really well. i also use full EM TF just because i have the pieces already before 3.0.
I'm glad Cookie has an actual role now. I couldn't justify wasting resources on her when she just sucked. But now I can use her as the centerpiece of a Hyperbloom team. She's got a great design and it was a shame having her languishing at lvl 20 for the free fate.
🌸🌺It may be that Kuki was once neglected and utterly trashed by the community, but in time she would be recognized by even the most harden of critics🌺🌸
i just try this and finally i can clear floor 12 for the first time despite only having kuki talents at 1-4-2. my team is childe, DMC, beidou and kuki. thanks sevy
Oh my God green hair 2B finally has some more of a use as was expected but this this can work! And since she had to spook me up to 4 times when I was trying to get cadence, I feel some rearrangement is an order. I will definitely try hyperbloom Shinobu since it looks very fun with a team of Shinobu, Dedro Aether, Candace and best girl Beidou. Hopefully I should have the artifacts with the one stat needed for this and overall again thank you Dendro for making characters work. Great job with this guide as usual Sevy and here is hoping for a Thoma guide lol.
Using Kuki in a Hyperbloom team is absurdly fun! I use Ayato as the driver, Kuki as the Hyperbloom enabler & healer, and I use both Collei & Traveler for their Dendro support on top of their resonance giving more EM. Was effortlessly able to clear the first halves of all floors. I just need more Dendro characters for more possibilities.
Kuki hyperbloom is such a fun team. I'm using Candace in the flex slot for double hydro. I know there are better options, but... I just want some way of using a C0 Candace. Her design is too cool to leave her on the bench.
You can use Candace to infuse Kuki with Hydro so Kuki can produce Dendro cores herself and Hyperbloom them. It’s pretty fun to me. Kuki, MC, Yelan and Candace is a solid team if you level Kiki’s NA talent to 8 at least.
Btw it's cool use of Candace. I cleared abyss with this team: Kuki, dendro mc, Candace and XQ. Mc and Candace still have 1/1/1 talents but this team is strong already.

Kuki supremacy! I love her 😍 best 4* I pulled a while ago. I hope to get either Nilous 5* Sword or the 4* Xiphos Moonlight to make her even better. First gives her whopping 80% HP and converts HP to EM. 2nd gives her ER from EM and shares a bit of it with team. Both super OP options for her!!
i always believed in Kuki even before dendro was released! she was a staple in my taser teams previously and now with dendro’s introduction my new fave comp with her is an aggravate team that includes dendro MC, Raiden, and Kazuha! they just delete everything with ease even tho i’m still running Kuki on 4pc tenacity (EM/EM/Healing Bonus + iron sting) and Raiden on 4pc emblem (ER/ATK%/CR + engulfing lightning)
For an hyperbloom team you get more damage with two Dendro characters for their elemental resonnance that not only gives the same 50 EM as a different element from Gilded, but also 30 from triggering a Quicken and another 20 for Hyperbloom.
OMG. I just came back to the game and have been overwhelmed with all this dendro stuff. I just started building Kuki for when I can utilize a team with her and DMC. I couldn't find ANY good guides on hyperbloom and aggravate along with which one is better for Kuki. This couldn't have come at a better time for me. Cause today is her talent material domain day too lol. I feel like I can finally ease my way back into the game with this. Thank you so much.
My current favorite take on Kuki hyper bloom is: Kuki - Iron Sting : Gilded Dreams, 1 EM and 2 HP Kokomi - Prototype Amber : Milileth, ER HP HP Collei - Fav Bow : Deepwood, still building Sucrose - Sac Frag : VV, EM, Anemo, EM I’m still trying to get an EM goblet for sucrose. The EM share from Sucrose really pushes Kuki into some fat hyper blooms. The rotation I’m working on is: Koko E, Collei E, Sucrose E, Kuki E to start. For the ults, I try to Sucrose Q the hydro from Koko’s E, then toss in Collei’s Q, and finish with Kuki Q, which gets some fat damage. I am still farming to get everybody’s ER stats where they need to be, though. It’s also a bit tough because skill cooldown don’t line up as well, but I’ll figure it out.
i've wanted her badly since her release and was beyond ecstatic when i got her off standard banner from a free fate cos im not wishing for itto or cyno. she's one of the only characters i've ever seriously pre-farmed for and i had ever lvl 90 w/ the triple EM 4 tenacity set i'd farmed for her within minutes. she's everything i'd hoped she'd be and more :)

Hi Sevy, as a new player almost 3 months playing Genshin i just want too Thank You for your guides which has helped me a lot as a new player. Your guides are not only meant for advance players but also beginners and which is great.
Got Kuki when she first came out. Been using Kuki, Ayato, Dendro Traveler, Collei. I use 2 Dendro just to make sure I have 100% Dendro application uptime....but sometimes I'll use Sucrose for extra EM. Never in a million years, did I ever think, when I first got Kuki, that she would be my Main DPS one day.
Kuki was already my favorite 4 star despite at the time her kit being "meh". Her design looked cool and she just so happens to be along with my favorite 5 star Itto. She's the next char I'm crowning
Thanks for the great uploads, as always! I really like these team comp-focused videos on top of the basic guides. I started playing Feb this year and got my first 36* on this spiral abyss. I'd like to mention that your content helped me with improving my account. Hopefully you would make more content focused on team comps with older units also.
It won't. Because it can't stack off field. With that said, I don't think it would be completely useless on her. I have been thinking about how to make her work with that weapon, and I've come to a conclusion. With how the recent units are designed it appears to me that they are trying to create a meta where off field characters are allowed to stay on field. Like yelan's passive, candace and a certain character that gives 250 em to on field character etc My idea is making shinobu stay on field while using that weapon, and ofc go triple hp instead of triple em. The team comp would feature candace/xingqiu/yelan, dendro traveler and that certain character who can offer 250 em to on field character who also happens to be dendro character With that weapon on shinobu she would get minimum 155 em (with triple hp she would be around 43k hp, without counting flower and substats), +250 from that mysterious dendro character and 100 from dendro resonance, and 2+2 of wanderer and gilded which is 160, +minimum 86 from her own weapon if she reaches 3 stacks, she already has 751 em. That's without using any em main stats, without counting substats, teammate's weapon passive as well. That's really good The idea brings quite some benefit along as well. For example, she can make use of those hp properly and have less trouble surviving because she's tanky now, not to mention she also heal herself. Her artifacts would also be much easier to farm for since hp main stats are way easier to obtain than em main stats, with em goblet being 2.5% chance. Also, it can fix her "design flaw" (according to some content creator) of not being able to heal herself. Lastly, it open up a slot for someone like candace to fit into the team, since you don't necessary need xingqiu or yelan to make this work. Plus, putting candace in would further justify shinobu staying on field since she's applying her own hydro now. I'd like to test it out to see how viable it would be, but for now it does seem pretty interesting isn't it?
I’m really gaining more respect for Kuki as I learn to use Dendro more effectively. I run her in a casual overworld team w/ Collei and Keqing and Sucrose. And it’s good fun. I’ve been running her as a mixed build, but hopefully I’ll get the artifacts to run her full EM w/ Gilded and Wanderer’s.
I stopped playing after Ayaka was released and came back after 3 years only to be HUMBLED by how much new content, mechanisms, and characters I had missed. But know this, Sevy: You’re the only one I’ll ever watch guides from. THANK YOU!
Hello, I usually agree with 99% of what you say but @10:10 I kinda disagree, for me her C6 basically means, "keep on using her E and quick swapping her out without caring about her HP going too low, the risk of her dying is decreased by a death prevention mechanic and you will get rewarded for taking that diminished risk with 150 EM during 15s every 60s". That is 1/4th of the time, that is on average +42.5 EM. I agree it's small, but that's not that bad neither imo, especially considering the revive. Just to explain why I think so, I just got her C6 recently, and as most players I play her quick swap, so her HP basically will always decrease during fight until it reaches 20% (because of her E), so it's not like we put her this low on purpose (unlike Bennett C2 which for me has a much harder condition to satisfy, since his burst heals immediately, + Aquila Favonia, but that's another story). Shinobu WILL end up reaching that level of HP unless we purposely put her on the field to regen herself with her own E. All we have to do is user her E before her Q in order to get one tick of healing at least once every 60s, in order to go above the threshold to reset her C6 condition. Except at that moment, she will never have more than 20% HP, keeping the C6 active permanently, at least if we ignore the time to reach the threshold (which in abyss should be only the first minute of the first chamber). And since it also incorporates a death prevention mechanic, you don't need to worry too much about an accidental death.
I wanted to get my kuki c6 on the itto banner with out pulling itto. Sadly didn’t happen but it was okay I assured pity for kazuha. Now that she’s back and I wanted cyno I was happy to c6 her finally. Candace I was not so lucky but I’m super happy with kuki and it’s almost time to build her for real.
You should definitely build her especially if you have her C6. She’s good 👍 believe me, I’m a meta-slave (kind-of) and say that. If you get her the upcoming 4* Xiphos Mooblight sword she will be even greater for your teams. If built correct, she then can heal, buff ATK, give ER to team and deal Ton if transformative reaction DMG!!
Oh my god, kinda unrelated but this is the FIRST TIME I knew "flex slot" stood for "FLEXIBLE" I thought it was flex as in showing off WHY DID THAT TAKE ME SO LONG TO REALIZE
At first I was very septical to build Kuki, but I did anyway because I like to try new things and now that dendro droped and tried her out with hyperbloom, I’m glad I build her.
Because of her skill and the new dendro combo she become very reliable even more. When I first heard of the Hyperbloom mechanic, I begin to ask myself if Kuki Shinobu is great for hyperbloom and it worked well. Now I team her with Collei and Ayato with Kuki's build being 4 pc tenacity, EM/EM/EM with HP%/Flat HP and ER as a priority on substat. I picked this because I haven't built enough good gilded dream stats yet and my 4pc tenacity is fully built before Sumeru even opened.
I'm trying to build 4 teams without reusing any characters and my last one is a Kuki hyperbloom. Currently my issue is just getting the artifacts I need...
Awesome, I use the same build. My team comp currently Kazuha, Kokomi, Kuki and Dendro MC. Kokomi E > Kuki E > Dendro MC Q > Kazuha Q + E > Kokomi Q + Autos.
Been using Kuki for a while now. At first I paired her with Ayaka for a superconduct team then I finally got Kokomi so I now have a freeze/superconduct team. When Dendro came out I found that she works great with Barbara and Dendro MC/Collei. By having 2 healers the party is pretty durable and I don't have to worry as much about Kuki's HP drain from her skill. Putting a Favonius Codex on Barbara also makes her the party battery. Been experimenting with an aggravate team but haven't found one that I like.
I'm pretty happy I managed to get her and c6 her! I know it might not be as good as the guide's options but I built my new Kuki on 4p Tenacity EM/EM/EM so she could also be a buffer for my DPSs (I tend to run her with either Ayato or Cyno, and atk is pretty good on them even in dendro teams) while still being solid for hyperbloom and doing ~20k pops at only lv 80/80. On my Cyno team it's true her E can run out by the end of his ult but she's still extremely comfy for when I really want to use Kazuha as my flex instead of Zhongli. I could 36* the abyss with her even with this hybrid more-for-bloom-than-quicken build
I do some small trial with kuki with the hyperbloom. Using traveler, kuki,Barbara, and zhongli. Using Barbara and kuki E, is just amazing.kuki at level 60 with 642 EM i can do 9-15K hyperbloom damage. Thank you for this very useful guide

@@demoncloud6147 or just put Raiden for national team, while Kuki can demolished another chamber's spiral abyss
Boring to see Raiden only do her E in hyperbloom
i'm so happy with kuki getting the love she deserves i love her personality her style and skills
I know the iron sting is better but the black iron sword just looks too good on her
It fits perfectly with Kuki's outfit in fact!.
Yup! And I'm also glad to finally have a use for it

How about that umbrella weapon?
She’s always been awesome to me since I like taser teams. Quite a premium team but my favorite is Ayato, Kuki, Yelan, and Venti.
At this point I’m almost confident to say Kuki’s HP draining is exactly because they don’t want HoD to be too op on her
That's funny because that's exactly what I've been thinking about.
HoD? I'm blanking on these terms
@@tonythepigeon9168 Harbinger of Dawn friend
I was thinking Heart of Depth and was so confused for a bit there
I thought you said Heart of Depth. But hey, the cursed hydro kuki build isn’t impossible
MY GIRL KUKI'S FINALLY GETTING THE RECOGNITION SHE DESERVES!! i'm so so happy :')
If use doble dendro for thw
the extra em, using sucrose instead lf yelan will give you more em
I'm glad Cookie has an actual role now. I couldn't justify wasting resources on her when she just sucked. But now I can use her as the centerpiece of a Hyperbloom team. She's got a great design and it was a shame having her languishing at lvl 20 for the free fate.
🌸🌺It may be that Kuki was once neglected and utterly trashed by the community, but in time she would be recognized by even the most harden of critics🌺🌸
FACTSSSSSSS PRAISE SHINOBU FOR BEING SO MUCH FUN WITH DENDRO AHH
i just try this and finally i can clear floor 12 for the first time despite only having kuki talents at 1-4-2. my team is childe, DMC, beidou and kuki.
Yessss her EM Hyperbloom build is so good and I love seeing her finally get the love she deserves 🥰🥰🥰
@@marios.2975 Hyperbloom EM-EM-EM Shinobu or Hyperbloom EM-EM-EM Raiden Shogun? Who does more Hyperbloom damage? Just curious. I have neither characters. But planning to build a Hyperbloom team soon.
Candace is actually better than yunjin when supporting characters with aoe normal attacks .
@@funoniziedej1851 two weeks late but I built both and usually raiden does more damage because she can use Dragon’s Bane, which has 50ish more EM than the 4* swords. Kuki heals tho so I think it balances it out. Regardless they both do over 30k per hyperbloom.
its my first time being this early lol, btw your vids have helped me make my account better, keep up the good work
Kuki supremacy!
I was just building kuki
literally
Same 😂😂
Me too
just full stars the spiral abyss with kuki hyperbloom team. definitely worth to build
For an hyperbloom team you get more damage with two Dendro characters for their elemental resonnance that not only gives the same 50 EM as a different element from Gilded, but also 30 from triggering a Quicken and another 20 for Hyperbloom.
I love Kuki! My current team is hyperbloom with Cyno, Kuki, Xingqui and Traveller😊
My current favorite take on Kuki hyper bloom is:
Kuki - Iron Sting : Gilded Dreams, 1 EM and 2 HP
Kokomi - Prototype Amber : Milileth, ER HP HP
Collei - Fav Bow : Deepwood, still building
Sucrose - Sac Frag : VV, EM, Anemo, EM
I’m still trying to get an EM goblet for sucrose. The EM share from Sucrose really pushes Kuki into some fat hyper blooms. The rotation I’m working on is:
Koko E, Collei E, Sucrose E, Kuki E to start.
Glad sevy you make this kind of video i was planning to build her
I knew that showing Kuki love would pay off! I have her at C6 currently and I'm proud of having her since Day 1. Finally, she's seen as viable.
In areas where I can't use Barbara , Diona , Bennet nor Sayu as my healer, Kuki covers my team. I don't have to worry for her getting frozen and she helps not only heal but do great reactions with others. She's awesome!
Pulled Kuki the other day and was trying out a very similar thing!
I settled on Kuki, Collei/Traveler, Miko/Blue Twink, and Kokomi
Wow so Kuki is now getting some place in the Meta that's why I say don't judge a character from the beggining
but they will always clown on characters regardless..these people never learn
Sayu.. Xinyan... Barbara... Kojou sara... Diluc... Qiqi... Amber... Heizou... Chongyun... They still being xtremely bad
@@cleod7439 what are u smoking? Sara bad? Lol her team is Raiden team and an electro support..
Heizou bad? Lol he is the strongest dps 4* what your talking about?
Just when I got my first Shinobu, Thank you for this another wonderful guide Sevyyyy!!
Hyperbloom Cookie is probably my favourite team now. 37k per hyperbloom is insane, and it always proc 2 at once so 74k per Cookie E tick.
it doesn't even have ICD right for triggering hyperbloom, you'll only need consistent dendro seeds to drop.
@@sidiqdidi9925 yup, at C2 her E ticks 10 times with 100% uptime as well.
Nilou's sword (key of Khaj-nisut) works here too. It may have a health base state, but it can boost her and her team's em as long as her skill hits enemies 3 times to get those stacks.
I just got Kuki yesterday and at C1 too in 1 ten pull! And I'm quite excited to use her, now seeing that there's so much amazing teams for the new dendro reactions!
I've been slowly aiming at her c2 but this is maybe the last little push I need to start building her - might try kuki/DMC/Ayato /Yunjin out
Oooh I hadn't thought about yunjin for a last slot in this team! Stealing this idea.
Kuki was the first 4 star I pulled
Ive always liked her kit. If it was not for Shinobu, I would have probably not played much longer.
Shinobu is wonderful.
I’ve now build hyperbloom Kuki and I’m really happy about her! I like kuki a lot and now her playstyle is super satisfying
Protip: if you have her C2 or above, you don't need that much ER because your skill uptime is so consistent that her burst isn't even needed for proccing hyperbloom!
Source: 9starred floor 12 with lvl70 Kuki with 155 ER.
At C2, the main purpose of her burst in hyperbloom teams is sending off 5 cores as a finale
I missed out on Kuki’s first banner since I didn’t want Itto. So this Cyno banner was amazing since I wanted all 3 of the 4 stars. Built Kuki to 80/90 full EM but hesitating to actually spend the books to go full 90
I’m 98% sure reactions also scale on level, so if you want the absolute max reaction damage, I’d take her to 90/90!
I literally just got Kuki today and watched your last guide about her. Love to see another guide release now lol.
Omg finally you make this guide! Thank you so much
Kuki was already my favorite 4 star despite at the time her kit being "meh". Her design looked cool and she just so happens to be along with my favorite 5 star Itto. She's the next char I'm crowning
"She is relatively simple and cheap. She only needs full EM main stats..."
*Laughs in 2.5% goblet chance/4% circlet chance*
What a guide! Thank u so much, love the way u explain the whole video!
We need a green-haired hydro unit, call our Kuki hyperbloom comp the green machine
I managed to 36 star abyss for the first time thanks to kuki! she's amazing!
While it hasn't been officially revealed yet, I think it should be noted that Nilou's weapon looks quite insane on Kuki.
It won't. Because it can't stack off field. With that said, I don't think it would be completely useless on her. I have been thinking about how to make her work with that weapon, and I've come to a conclusion.
With how the recent units are designed it appears to me that they are trying to create a meta where off field characters are allowed to stay on field. Like yelan's passive, candace and a certain character that gives 250 em to on field character etc
My idea is making shinobu stay on field while using that weapon, and ofc go triple hp instead of triple em. The team comp would feature candace/xingqiu/yelan, dendro traveler and that certain character who can offer 250 em to on field character who also happens to be dendro character
With that weapon on shinobu she would get minimum 155 em (with triple hp she would be around 43k hp, without counting flower and substats), +250 from that mysterious dendro character and 100 from dendro resonance, and 2+2 of wanderer and gilded which is 160, +minimum 86 from her own weapon if she reaches 3 stacks, she already has 751 em. That's without using any em main stats, without counting substats, teammate's weapon passive as well. That's really good
The idea brings quite some benefit along as well.
I literally got her 3 days ago this came at right time THANK U MS. SEVY THE ANYA OF GENSHIN GUIDES U READ EVERYONES MIND RN!
Love that I just got Kuki (and to C4!) while pulling for Cyno and my team is literally Kuki, dendro MC, Kazuha, and Cyno.
i was waiting for this thank u
dendro made her probably the best inazuma 4star yet, next to heizou
Just when I needed advice whether to use Kuki! Thanks so much Sevy!
I stopped playing after Ayaka was released and came back after 3 years only to be HUMBLED by how much new content, mechanisms, and characters I had missed. But know this, Sevy: You’re the only one I’ll ever watch guides from. THANK YOU!
I have her on a team with ayato, dendro traveler and kazuha and it's soooo satisfying seeing all the hyperbloom number shoots out is soo satisfying
i always wanted to build shinobu but never had the materials for it. but now i really want her in my cyno team. thank you sevy i love your vids!💖
Been using her since her release, absolutely love the new builds/teams she has access to now.

Omg thank you for this! I just got Kuki! I can’t wait to use her❤
sevy voice is soothing
Thank you so much for making this video sevy, it's really informative and easy to understand
omg thank you so much for this!!! I just got kuki and I was trying to figure out how to build her for a new hyperbloom team and now I know 🥺
Hello, I usually agree with 99% of what you say but @10:10 I kinda disagree, for me her C6 basically means, "keep on using her E and quick swapping her out without caring about her HP going too low, the risk of her dying is decreased by a death prevention mechanic and you will get rewarded for taking that diminished risk with 150 EM during 15s every 60s".
And since it also incorporates a death prevention mechanic, you don't need to worry too much about an accidental death.
great vid as always
Before Cyno banner I went from having no Kuki to c5 Kuki Shinobu. She was practically in almost every 10 pull I made.
I know I’m super late, but thank you for this video! I’m finally deciding to build my kuki and this helped :)
thank you for the great vids and guides Sevy! i always watch and appreciate your work and especially your energy. ^^
So does EM still increase reaction damage when the character is off field? AR24 and still learning lol
Great vid thank you!
Yes, it still does increase :)
At first I was very septical to build Kuki, but I did anyway because I like to try new things and now that dendro droped and tried her out with hyperbloom, I’m glad I build her.
Sevy looking forward to your Burgeon team guide because that team composition is interesting!
been waiting for this one
I just managed to 36-star with Kuki, Candace, Sucrose and DMC on one side today.
Hyperbloom is pretty decent!
I’m glad this was being spammed on my RUclips shorts can’t wait to finally use shinobu in abyss
I loved her since the start but now
The enemies dont even know what hit them
Homing cores from hyperbloom are so satisfying
Just the guide I need. Thank you Sevi ❤️🎉
I watched the guide. I appreciate it. I really do. I still will never take her off my Itto team because I don't want them to be apart.
I’ve been using Kuki in my Cyno team and I love how she feels in it! Plus she buffs with ToM and Sapwood Blade which is nice
amazing video as always sevy! maybe could you please make a video about burgeon thoma next? 🥺
Somehow Sevy just read my mind building kuki for Dendro synergy-
I think you might make the best content from anyone. Thank you
Thank you so much!😊
